Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):
CLO: 1. Differentiate between different aspects of probability theory like relative frequency and
axiomatic approach, and apply the concepts of probability theory like conditional
probability, independence and counting methods. (Level: C4)
CLO: 2. Apply concepts like discrete random variables, PMFs, CDFs, functions of random variables,
expected values, variance and conditional PMF. Moreover student must illustrate knowledge
of families of discrete random variables. (Level: C3)
CLO: 3. Apply concepts like continuous random variables, PDFs, CDFs, expected values, variance etc.
Moreover student must illustrate knowledge of families of continuous random variables.
(Level: C3)
CLO: 4. Apply knowledge of Pairs of random variables to solve problems. (Level: C3)
