B. A tally from lowest to highest and number of frequency.

Time Frequency Time Frequency

15 6 45 1

18 1 59 1

20 8 60 4

25 1 90 1

C. A graph of table C, with the time of taking a bath at the X-axis

and the frequency at the Y-axis

D. Calculate the mean (average), variance, and standard deviation.

To find the mean, each time value is multiplied by its corresponding

frequency to get f × x. Then, all the f × x values are added together to find
the total. The total frequency (the sum of all frequencies) is also calculated.
Finally, the mean is found by dividing the total f × x by the total frequency.
This gives the average time value.
Formula:
X̄ = Σ(fx)/Σf
● f = frequency
● x = time

Time (x) Frequency (f) f*x

X̄ = 10(2)+12(1)+15(6)+18(1)+20(8)+25(1)
X̄ = 889/30

X̄ = 29.6333

X̄ = 29.63

To find the variance, we first subtract the mean from each time value (x-x̄),
then square the result to get (x-x̄)². Each squared value is then multiplied
by its corresponding frequency to get f(x-x̄)². After finding all these
products, we add them together. Finally, we divide the total by the sum of
frequencies to get the variance, which measures how spread out the data is
around the mean.

Formula:
σ² = Σf(x-x̄)²/Σf

Time (x) Frequency x-29.6333 (x-29.6333)² f(x-

σ² = 393.4989

σ² = 393.50

To find the standard deviation, we must get the square root of the mean.

Formula:
σ = √σ²

σ = √393.4989

σ = 19.8368

σ = 19.84
