Fief, Knight, Serf, Troubadour, Papal Supremacy, Charter

Feif- An estate of land, especially one held on condition of feudal service.


-Knight- (in the Middle Ages) a man who served his sovereign or lord as a mounted soldier in
armor.

Serf agricultural laborer bound under the feudal system to work on their lord's estate.
Troubadour French medieval lyric poet composing and singing in Provençal in the 11th to 13th
centuries, especially on the theme of courtly love.

Papal Supremacy- Papal supremacy is the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church that

Anthopologist-an expert in or student of anthropology.

Astronomer-an expert in or student of astronomy.


Cuneiform-denoting or relating to the wedge-shaped characters used in the ancient writing
systems of Mesopotamia, Persia, and Ugarit, surviving mainly impressed on clay tablets
