Introduction
Hi, I’m very excited to share my family favorite recipes with you, as a
wife and working mother of two, I know how important it is to add
variety to our daily meals while keeping them delicious, that’s why in
this book I’ve included my family top 30 favorite Burger and
Sandwich recipes, the reason I’ve chosen 30, is so that you could try
one recipe every single day for an entire month, then again, once
you’ve tried them all, you can stick to the ones you like the most.

2 slices of Swiss cheese
4 thin slices of cucumber
2 ounces of thinly sliced smoked ham
1 tablespoon of honey mustard
2 slices of toasted bread
Half thinly sliced apple

Spread mustard on both slices of the toast and set them aside.
Microwave apple uncovered on high for 1 minute or till it gets slightly
softened.
Arrange cheese and half of apple slices on one slice of the toast and
top it with ham and cucumber. Add cheese slices and the rest of the
apple. Top it with mustard and close the sandwich by adding the
other slice of toast.

Serves 1 sandwich
Apple Tuna Sandwich
1 teaspoons of finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon of sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of finely chopped celery
1 tablespoon of finely chopped walnuts
¼ teaspoon of sugar
3 ounces of light tuna in water
¼ cup of chopped red apple
2 slices of toasted bread
2 lettuce leaves

Combine mayonnaise, celery, walnuts, onion, relish and sugar in a


large bowl and then stir in apple and tuna. Spread the mixture on
one slice of bread and close it with the other slice.

Serves 1 sandwich
Bacon Wrapped Burger
1 tablespoon of ketchup
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon of salt
Dash of pepper
½ cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese
1 chopped small onion
1 egg
1 pound of lean ground beef
4 slices of bacon
4 hamburger buns

Prepare the grill at high heat.


Mix Parmesan cheese, Cheddar cheese, egg, onion, Worcestershire
sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add ground beef
and mix them with hand. Divide mixture into 4 patties. Wrap one
slice of bacon around each patty. Use toothpicks to secure the
bacon.
Cook the patties for 5 minutes each side on the grill, till they are well
done. Remove toothpicks and serve them on top of hamburger buns.

Serves 4 burgers
Barbecue Chicken Sandwich
2 pounds of cooked boneless skinless chicken breast
18 ounces of barbecue sauce
1 sliced sweet onion
4 hamburger buns

Place onion slices on top of the chicken and pour barbecue sauce
over it. Shred chicken with a knife and fork and scoop mixture onto
bottom buns and top them with top buns.

Serves 4 sandwiches
Basil Burger
4 hamburger buns
1 pound of ground beef
3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of dried basil
¼ teaspoon of garlic salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper

Prepare grill at high heat.


Mix ground beef, garlic, basil, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper
in a bowl. Form mixture into 4 patties.
Oil the grill grate lightly and cook burger patties for 5 minutes while
turning them once. Serve them on hamburger buns.

Serves 4 burgers
Blue Cheese & Mushroom
Burger
4 burger buns
1 pound of lean ground beef
8 ounces of finely chopped fresh mushrooms
1 finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
¼ cup of crumbled blue cheese

Prepare grill at high heat.


Mix beef, onion, mushroom and soy sauce in a medium bowl and
season mixture with salt and pepper. Divide into 4 patties.
Oil the grill grate lightly and cook patties on the grill for 5 minutes
each side, till they are well done. Top patties with blue cheese during
the final minute of cooking and place them on top of buns.

Serves 4 burgers
Cajun Tex-Mex Burger
1 seeded and chopped jalapeno pepper
½ cup of diced onion
1 minced clove garlic
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
4 slices of pepper jack cheese
½ cup of mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
1 pound of lean ground beef
4 hamburger buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices

Prepare grill at medium-high heat. Mix 1 tablespoon of Cajun


seasoning with mayonnaise in a small bowl. Set it aside.
Mix ground beef, garlic, onion, jalapeno pepper, Worcestershire
sauce and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning with your hands in a
large bowl. Divide mixture into 4 patties.
Oil the grill lightly and cook the patties on the grill for 5 minutes each
side, till they are well done. During last 2 minutes of cooking, lay one
cheese slice on each patty.
Spread seasoned mayonnaise on the buns and place burgers on the
buns. Top them with lettuce and tomato slices for serving.

Serves 4 burgers
Hot Turkey Burgers
4 burger buns
1 pound of lean ground turkey
2 cloves of minced garlic
½ teaspoon of minced fresh ginger
1 diced jalapeno pepper
1 diced small red onion
¼ cup of finely chopped fresh cilantro
½ teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of paprika
1 teaspoons of ground dry mustard
1 teaspoons of ground cumin
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce

Prepare grill at high heat.


Mix ground turkey, ginger, garlic, red onion, pepper, cilantro, paprika,
cumin, soy sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper
in a bowl. Form mixture into 4 patties.
Oil grill grate lightly and place turkey burgers on top to cook for 5-10
minutes each side. Place burger patties on buns to serve with your
preferred condiment.

Serves 4 burgers
Caprese Sandwich
2 large Ciabatta Rolls
1 avocado
1 tomato
Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
10 green olives
4 tablespoons of pesto
2 tablespoons of Balsamic Vinegar
1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil

Slice tomato into 4 even portions and slice avocado into thin pieces.
Place them in a bowl and pour balsamic vinegar and olive oil over
top, mix well. Let it marinate while you prepare the rest. Slice
ciabatta rolls in half and cover bottom slice with half inch slices of
fresh mozzarella.
Microwave the halves of the roll for 30 seconds or till the cheese
gets completely melted. Let it cool for about 5 minutes and spread
pesto on top. Add avocado and 2 slices of tomato on top of each half
of the roll. Cover them with the rest of the ciabatta and gently press
them down. Cut each into 2 equal pieces with a sharp knife. Push
one toothpick through each piece and arrange them decoratively in a
plate. Serve and enjoy

Serves 4 half rolls


Chipotle Burger
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1 pound of lean ground beef
½ onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro
1 finely chopped chipotle chili in adobo sauce
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
4 split and toasted hamburger buns

Prepare grill at medium-high heat and oil the grate lightly. Mix ground
beef, cilantro, onion, onion powder, garlic powder, chipotle chili
pepper, black pepper and seasoned salt in a large mixing bowl to get
the ingredients well combined. Divide mixture into 4 patties.
Cook hamburgers on the preheated grill. After they are done, top
hamburgers with mozzarella slices and serve them on toasted buns.

Serves 4 burgers
Darn Good Burger
½ diced red onion
4 diced strips of bacon
3 chopped mushrooms
2 burger buns
½ pound ground beef
3 oz of cream cheese
2 chopped garlic clove
3 oz of shredded Cheddar cheese

Sautee the onions, bacon and mushrooms until bacon is crispy, put
aside.
Sautee the garlic for a few minutes, then add the garlic and stir until
cheese is melted, remove from heat and spread it on the base and
the top of the buns.
Cook the burgers on a grill and put them on the base of each bun,
add the mix with the bacon and the cheddar cheese on the top buns
Serve open

Serves 2 burgers
Gouda Bacon Burger
4 slices of bacon
2 cups of shredded Gouda cheese
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
2 pounds of lean ground beef
¼ cup of garlic bread crumbs
1 egg
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
Salt and pepper
4 toasted burger buns

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet and cook with medium-high heat.
Turn bacon occasionally and cook for about 10 minutes till they are
evenly browned. Drain bacon slices with paper towel in a plate. Cool
bacon and place in a bowl. Add Gouda cheese, Dijon mustard and
parsley to mix and set mixture aside.
Place ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped garlic and egg in a
mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper to season. Mix till everything is
evenly blended. Divide mixture into 8 thin patties.
Prepare grill at medium-high heat and oil the grate lightly.
Cook patties on the grill for about 5 minutes each side, or till patties
are well done. Divide Gouda cheese filling onto 4 patties and place
remaining 4 patties on top. To melt the cheese, place burgers at the
cooler part of the grill. Serve them with hamburger buns.

Serves 4 burgers
Grilled Cheddar Cheese & Mayo
Sandwich
1 slice of cheddar cheese
2 slices of bread
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

Heat a small skillet over medium heat.


Spread half of the mayonnaise onto one slice of bread using a knife.
Place bread in the skillet with mayo side down. Add cheese on top
and spread the remaining mayonnaise on top of the other slice of
bread. Place it mayo side down on top of the cheese.
Cook for 2 minutes or till bread gets toasty brown. Turn it to cook the
other side.

Serves 1 sandwich
Grilled Pizza Cheese Sandwich
¼ cup of mozzarella cheese
2 slices of your favorite bread
2 tablespoons of marinara sauce
1 teaspoon of shredded parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper

Spread one tablespoon of marinara sauce on top of each piece of


bread, and then evenly spread mozzarella cheese one of the 2
pieces of bread. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese over the
mozzarella cheese. Top it with second piece of bread. Place the
sandwich in heated cooking pan and cook till cheese melts inside
and the outside becomes golden brown. Now it’s done and you can
enjoy!

Serves 1 sandwich
Grilled Tomato Sandwich
½ teaspoon dried parsley
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
3 tablespoon mayonnaise
3 tablespoon grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
4 slices bread, lightly toasted

Heat the grill. Take a shallow bowl and whisk the olive oil and
vinegar together. Add the tomatoes to marinate. Stir occasionally to
make sure they are coated. In another bowl combine the
mayonnaise, parsley, oregano, black pepper and Parmesan cheese.
Spread this onto the toasted bread. Layer the marinated tomatoes
on top of the mayonnaise mixture and then top with Parmesan
Cheese. Put bread on a baking sheet and grill until golden brown,
about 5 minutes. Serve. This can be served with another slice of
bread on top, or as is.

Serves 2 sandwiches
Hawaiian Pork Burger
½ pound of ground pork
2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
1 egg
½ peeled, cored and chopped Granny Smith apple
½ finely chopped sweet onion
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 hamburger buns
6 ounces of sliced and drained canned pineapple

Prepare grill and heat it with medium-high heat.


Mix ground pork, onion, apple, garlic, one egg and teriyaki sauce in a
large bowl. Add canned pineapple juice if the mixture is too dry.
Divide mixture into 2 patties.
Oil the grill grate lightly and grill the burger patties for about 10
minutes, or till they are well done. Meanwhile, toast the buns on the
grill. Serve burgers on the buns and top them with pineapple slices.

Serves 2 burgers
Herbs & Apple Club Sandwich
1 cup of peeled and thinly sliced tart apple
1 teaspoon of dried tarragon
½ teaspoon of dried thyme
4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
8 slices of bread
8 thin slices of deli turkey
8 slices of Monterey Jack cheese
8 thin slices of deli ham
4 lettuce leaves
4 teaspoons of prepared mustard

Grind tarragon and thyme in a spice grinder till mixture turns into fine
powder. Transfer it into a small bowl and add lemon juice and
mayonnaise. Spread it onto 2 slices of bread.
Lay turkey, ham, apple, cheese and lettuce on top. Spread mustard
on the other 2 slices of bread and close the sandwiches.

Serves 4 sandwiches
Hungry Man Burger
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
¼ cup of crushed tortilla chips
4 large hamburger buns
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 fresh jalapeno peppers
2 pounds of ground beef
Salt and pepper
1 egg
3 tablespoons of steak sauce
1 minced small onion
1 teaspoon of hot pepper
1 pinch of dried oregano

Prepare a grill at high heat. When grill gets hot, roast jalapeno
peppers till they are blackened all around. Place them in a plastic
bag for peppers to sweat and loosen the skin. Rub skin off and seed
them if you prefer. Chop the peppers.
Mix chopped jalapeno peppers, ground beef, egg, onion, oregano,
tortilla chips, steak sauce, hot pepper sauce Worcestershire sauce,
salt, pepper and garlic salt in a large bowl with your hands. Divide
mixture into 4 patties.
Grill burger patties for 10-15 minutes and turn them once while
cooking, till patties are well done. Remove patties from grill and
place them on buns. Top each patty with a Cheddar cheese slice.

Serves 4 burgers
Mediterranean Roasted
Vegetable Sandwich
2 Sliced Portobello mushrooms
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 Aubergine, sliced into strips
2 red peppers
2 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 loaf focaccia bread

Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush the aubergine and
the red peppers with olive oil. Depending upon the size of the
vegetables, you may need more oil. Put vegetables in a baking dish
in the preheated oven. Roast them until the aubergine is tender and
the peppers are blackened, about 25 minutes. Remove vegetables
from the oven and let cool.
While they are cooling, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and cook the
mushrooms to tenderness. Stir the garlic and the mayonnaise
together. Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the mayonnaise
on to one side of each half. Peel the cooled peppers, coring and
slicing it. Take the aubergine and the peppers and the mushrooms
and layer them onto the bread. Wrap the whole thing in tin foil and
weigh it down with a cutting board or other heavy object. Let the
sandwich sit under the weight a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Serves 1 Loaf
Melted Swiss cheese and Ham
Sandwich
2 tablespoons of chopped onion
½ tablespoon of poppy seeds
Salt and ground black pepper
4 hamburger buns
4 slices of Swiss cheese
¼ cup of softened butter
½ tablespoon of mayonnaise
½ tablespoon of prepared mustard
½ pound of thinly sliced and fully cooked ham

Prepare the oven and preheat it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


Mix the butter, mustard, mayonnaise as well as poppy seeds and
onions together in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper
and spread a thin layer over each side of the buns. Place a slice of
cheese on each bottom bun and put a couple of slices of ham on
top. Use aluminum foil to wrap each sandwich.
In the prepared oven, bake the sandwiches for around 8 minutes, or
till they are cooked enough.

Serves 4 sandwiches
Mexican Burger
1 teaspoon of taco seasoning mix
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Some chipotle chili in adobo sauce
1 pound of lean ground beef
2 tablespoons of your choice type of salsa
One egg
Tomato slices
Chopped fresh cilantro
Chopped red onion
4 slices of Monterey jack cheese

Combine the beef with one egg, half cup of salsa and taco
seasoning. Mix them in a large bowl and divide the mixture for 4
burgers.
Use a blender for the mayonnaise and chipotle chili. Blend them
nicely.
You may grill or broil the burgers for your personal favor. Turn them
once while cooking until the burgers are cooked to your desired
doneness. Serve the burgers on buns that are topped with blended
mayonnaise and chipotle chili, cheese and other choices of toppings.
Serve the burgers with your favorite brand of corn tortilla chips.

Serves 4 burgers
Portobello Burger
1 large Portobello mushroom
Balsamic vinegar
½ tablespoon of olive oil
¼ tablespoon of dried basil
¼ teaspoon of dried oregano
1 clove of finely minced garlic
Salt and pepper
1 slice provolone cheese
1 Hamburger bun
Sliced tomatoes
Romaine lettuce leaves
Sliced grilled onion
Dijon mustard

Cut stem off the mushroom and slice it up, place slices in a shallow
plate with the smooth side up and sprinkle them lightly with salt and
pepper. Whisk the vinegar, oil, garlic, basil and oregano. Pour the
this marinade on top of the mushroom slices and let the mixture
stand for 10 - 15 minutes in room temperature while stirring a couple
of times.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and place the mushrooms on
top while reserve the marinade for basting. Grill the mushrooms for
5-8 minutes each side and baste them frequently with the marinade.
Top the mushrooms with cheese during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
You may serve the burger with the bun and any other condiments of
your personal choice.

Serves 1 burger
Quick Meatball Subs
14 ounces of prepared frozen meatballs
6 Hoagie rolls
½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
24 ounces of prepared pasta sauce

Combine pasta sauce and frozen meatball in a large saucepan.


Cover it and cook with medium-high heat till heated through. Slice
hoagie rolls and add sauce and meatballs into sandwich. Top the
meatballs with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Serve 6 subs
Ranch & Cheddar Burger
1 pound of lean ground beef
½ cup of crushed saltine crackers
1 ounce of ranch dressing mix
1 lightly beaten egg
½ of chopped onion
2 cups of cheddar cheese

Prepare the grill at high heat.


Mix ground beef, crushed crackers, egg, onion and ranch dressing
mix in a bowl. Divide mixture into 4 patties.
Oil the grill grate lightly and cook patties on the grill for 5 minutes
each side, till they are well done. Place patties on buns and top them
with cheddar cheese.

Serves 4 burgers
Rodeo Burger
1 Hamburger bun
1 slice Cheddar cheese
¼ pound hamburger pattie
½ tablespoon of A-1 Steak Sauce
¼ tomato, nicely sliced
¼ tablespoon of olive oil
Half onion, sliced thinly into onion rings

Use medium heat to preheat the oven, heat oil in a large non-stick
skillet on medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add onions and cook 5
minutes while stirring frequently. Cover the skillet with lid and simmer
20 minute or till onions are golden brown. Add steak sauce into the
onion mixture.
At the meantime, grill pattie for 5 minutes each side.
Add tomato slice and burger on hamburger bun. Cover with cheese
and 3 tablespoon of onion mixture.
Now the burger is ready to serve.

Serves 1 burger
Smokey Burgers
1 pound of lean ground beef
½ grated onion
1 tablespoon of grill seasoning
1 tablespoon of liquid smoke
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves of minced garlic
1 chopped chipotle chili in adobo sauce
Salt and pepper
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 burger buns

Prepare grill at medium-high heat.


Combine beef, grill seasoning, chipotle pepper, onion, garlic,
Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke in a large bowl and divide
mixture into 4 patties. Season them with salt and pepper.
Cook patties on grill. Place one slice of Cheddar cheese on each
burger 1 minute before they are done. Place them on top of the buns
for serving.

Serves 4 burgers
Swiss Beer Burgers
½ cup of beer
4 burger buns
1 pound of lean ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
4 slices of Swiss cheese
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper

Prepare grill at medium-high heat. Oil the grate lightly.


Mix ground beef, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and Worcestershire in a
bowl. Add beer and combine till it’s absorbed in the mixture. Divide
into 4 patties.
Cook patties on the grill. Place them on hamburger buns and add
Swiss cheese on top.

Serves 4 burgers
The Triple Decker Sandwich
1 large chopped tomato
½ cup of mayonnaise
8 slices of white bread
1 chopped ripe avocado
1 tablespoon of lime juice
Salt, to taste
4 sliced hard boiled Eggs

Place 2 slices of bread on a board while tossing chopped avocado


with salt and lime juice in a bowl. Divide avocado mixture and spread
it on the 2 slices of bread. Top them with 2 more slices.
Toss chopped tomato together with ¼ cup of mayonnaise and salt in
a second bowl. Divide the mixture and spread them on 2 slices of
bread and top with another 2 slices.

Use a 3rd bowl to combine the hard boiled eggs with the rest of
mayonnaise and some salt. Divide and spread on 2 slices of bread
and top with the last 2 slices.
Secure the sandwiches with 2 toothpicks for each half and slice them
diagonally.

Serves 2 sandwiches
Tuna Burgers
4 hamburger buns
½ teaspoon of dried dill weed
¼ teaspoon of salt
1 dash of pepper
6 ounces of drained canned tuna
1 egg
½ cup of seasoned Italian bread crumbs
1 minced small onion
¼ cup of minced celery
1 minced small red bell pepper
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of hot sauce
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 sliced tomato
4 lettuce leaves

Combine tuna, bread crumbs, egg, celery, onion, red bell pepper, dill,
hot sauce, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a
large bowl and mix well. Form them into 4 patties.
Use cooking spray to coat a non-stick skillet and fry tuna patties for
about 3-4 minutes each side, till they are cooked through.
Serve patties on buns with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.

Serves 4 burgers
Turkey Cuban Sandwiches
4 tablespoons of prepared mustard
Half pound of deli turkey meat, thinly sliced
Half pound of cooked ham, thinly sliced
Half pound of Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
1 cup of mayonnaise
Italian dressing
4 loaves of hoagie rolls
1 cup of pickle slices
Half cup of olive oil

Mix mayonnaise with the Italian dressing in a small bowl. Spread the
mixture and mustard onto the hoagie rolls. Lay turkey, ham and
cheese on each hoagie roll and top them with slices of dill pickles.
Use olive oil to brush them and close the sandwiches.
Heat up a non-stick pan with medium-high heat. Put the sandwiches
in the pan to cook for about 2 minutes. Press them down with an
aluminum foil covered plate. Flip the sandwiches and cook them for
2 additional minutes, till the cheese melts. Remove them from the
heat and place them in plates. Cut them diagonally in half.
