1.2 New Features


Feature Description

Wi-Fi Module Supports connecting to Wi-Fi modules for Dahua NC650 and NC300.

Compatible with Wi-Fi cameras. The device supports basic functions such as
Wi-Fi Camera
searching, adding, previewing, recording, and playback.

Compatible with DoLynk Care. Supports maintenance and management,


DoLynk Care
including access to O&M webpage and remote updates.

Camera SMD The IPC that is compatible with XVR through the private protocol supports SMD.

SMD for All


You can enable SMD of AI by recorder for all channels on XVR.
Channels

1.2.1 Wi-Fi Module Function


Supports connecting to Wi-Fi modules for NC650 and NC300.
1. Connect the Wi-Fi module to the device's USB port.
2. Go to the NETWORK page of the device.
3. Go to Wi-Fi , enable Connect Automatically, and then click Apply.

1.2.2 SMD by Camera


The IPC that is compatible with XVR supports SMD.
1. You can enable SMD for IPC and configure SMD types, including person and vehicle.
2. You can perform linkage configuration for IPC SMD.
3. You can pass through IPC's SMD events to platform, DMSS app, Smart PSS Lite, and more.

1.2.3 SMD for All Channels


You can enable SMD of AI by recorder for all channels.

1.3 Fixed Bugs


This version fixes some bugs and strengthens product security on the basis of the last version.

1.4 Compatibility
1.4.1 Program
This series uses the new baseline version of V4.003.0000000.0, and is compatible with previous
versions (V4.001.0000001.2 or later). After updating to the new baseline version from previous
baseline V4.001.0000001.2, users cannot roll back to versions of previous baseline.

1.7 Update Guide


Refer to the following instructions when updating the product.
1. You can update the device through ConfigTool, webpage and USB flash drive. For details, see
the update guide.
2. During the update, the device will stop some services, such as recording and live view. After the
update is complete, restart the device to resume normal operation.
3. The update does not affect the previous configuration.
4. Do not disconnect the power supply during the update. Otherwise the device might not be able
to start normally.
