NOTE 1: HUB MODEL DESIGNATION:

NOTE 2: BLADE MODEL Propeller blades are identified by a part number only, which does not constitute a
DESIGNATION: model designation. See Note 11 for designation and clarification of specific type
certified blade rework designations.

NOTE 3: PITCH CONTROL The propeller control for propeller models 568F-1, 568F-5, and 568F-7 is specified
on the approved model parts list.

The propeller model 568F-11 is controlled by an integrated control system which

is not part of the propeller type design. The propeller model 568F-11 is not
approved for use with any type certified aircraft.

NOTE 4: (a) FEATHERING: Full feathering with the approved propeller control is specified on approved
model parts list. All models of the 568F propeller are full feathering except
the 568F-11.
(b) REVERSING: Full reversing with the approved propeller control is specified on approved
model parts list.

NOTE 5: LEFT-HAND MODELS: Not applicable

NOTE 6: INTERCHANGEABLE The R815505-2, R815505R2, R815505-3, R815505R3, R815505S3, R815505R2W,

BLADES: R815505R3W, R815505S3W, R815505-6, and R815505-9 are only
interchangeable with each other. These are not interchangeable with any
other blades.

The R81550R-4, R815505R4, R815505S4, R815505R4W, R815505S4W,

R815505-7, and R815505-10 are only interchangeable with each other. These
are not interchangeable with any other blades.

The R815505-5 blade is not interchangeable with any other blades.

The R815505-8 and R815505-11 blades are only interchangeable with each
other. These are not interchangeable with any other blades.

See Note 11 for description and clarification of specific type certified blade
rework designations.

NOTE 7: ACCESSORIES: (a) Propeller deicing: The electrical deicing system is specified on approved model
parts list and installed in accordance with the propeller manufacturer's
instructions.

(b) Spinners: The spinner is specified on approved model parts list.

NOTE 8: SHANK FAIRINGS: Not applicable

followed by a hyphen and another single digit. Where the hyphen is replaced by
either an “R” or an “S”, or when a”W” is included at the end of the part number,
this identifies a blade that has been reworked to meet specific requirements. See
note 6 for allowable interchangeable blades.

NOTE 12: SPECIAL NOTES: Installation on aircraft must be approved as part of the aircraft type certification
and demonstrates compliance with the applicable airworthiness requirements.
