Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following programmes offered in
Botswana College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) for the academic year 2025/26.
Programmes advertised will commence in July 2025.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

PROGRAMME Candidates with a minimum of 28 points in BGCSE DURATION


or equivalent qualification should satisfy the
following criterion:
DIPLOMA IN BUILDING AND
CIVIL ENGINEERING
DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL AND OPTION 1: grade D OPTION 2: grade D OPTION 3:
ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING or better in English, or better in English, National
grade C or better in grade C or better in Craft
DIPLOMA IN GEOMATICS Mathematics and Mathematics, Certificate /
24 Months
Double Science Award Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL in BGCSE or Physical Science in relevant
ENGINEERING equivalent. BGCSE or equivalent. certificate.
DIPLOMA IN WATER AND
ENVIRONMENTAL
ENGINEERING

HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should complete the application form and attach the following:
1. Certified copies of educational certificates where possible and Certified Copy of Omang or Passport
for non-citizens.
2. At least one reference / profile and statement with records of all achievements from previous school /
rehabilitation or special unit attended.
3. Applicants with special needs should provide a Valid Assessment Report either from GOVERNMENT
or PRIVATE REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST qualifying a candidate as having Mild Disability.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION


Application forms can be downloaded from Ministry of Higher Education and Botswana College
of Engineering and Technology Facebook pages or collected from the College Admissions
Office.

1. Applicants must be aged 16 years and above.


2. Photocopied application forms are accepted.
3. The name of the programme applied for should be written on the envelope.
4. Applicants from disadvantaged groups and those with special needs are encouraged to apply.
5. Failure to disclose accurate information will result in the candidate being disqualified and their
admission revoked.
