Task # 5

Assessment Questions

Answer # 1:

Formative assessment is a way for teachers to check students’ learning while they are still
learning. It helps teachers see what students understand and what they need help with. It gives
feedback, helps teachers understand students’ progress, and allows changes in teaching if
needed. The main goal is to help students improve before the final test.

Answer # 2:

The best method of assessment depends on the goal. Formative assessment is usually better
because it helps students learn and improve during the lesson, before the final test. Summative
assessment is good for measuring what students have learned at the end of a lesson or course.

Answer # 3:

Quizzes: Short quizzes help teachers check what students understand. They are not for final
grades but for finding mistakes and improving learning.

Class Discussions: Teachers ask questions, and students share their thoughts. This helps
teachers see how well students understand the topic and clear any confusion.

Answer # 4:

I prefer class discussions in my class because this is effective way to check students’
understanding. This method helps students stay engaged and allow me to give quick feedback.

Answer # 5:
