Events where India consistently wins medals at the international level are frequently being excluded, and now

event lineup. The games, hosted by Senegal, are scheduled to take place in Dakar.
In the previous Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires in 2018, India won 13 medals (3 gold, 9 silver, and 1
bronze). Out of these, Indian shooters alone claimed 4 medals (2 gold and 2 silver), hockey contributed 2

tally. The exclusion of these events in Senegal will be a major setback for Indian athletes.
