Observed that the outer frame of the ship looks like a geometrical figure that was
discussed in their Mathematics class, also he observed that it is a combination of
two parallelograms. When he told to his father; then his father drawn a rough
sketch of the ship with some given angles. In the following figure of a ship,
ABDH and CEFG are two parallelograms.
Based on the above story answer the following questions: 1

30. In the occasion of Diwali last year, Meghna made a Rangoli in her home all the 4
relatives praised for this beautiful decoration. At that time her school friend
Ramiya noticed that the Rangoli is a combination of some geometrical figures.
By taking the measurements of different parts of the Rangoli her friend made one
rough sketch of the Rangoli in a copy. Here ABCD and PQRS both are in the
shape of a rhombus. Find the radius of semicircle drawn on each side of rhombus
ABCD.
