There will be one midterm exam and a final exam. All exams will be closed book and closed
notes. They will consist of some classical type (e.g. short-answer and discussion) questions,
true/false questions, and multiple-choice questions.
Quizzes
There will be two quizzes. One will be before the mid-term and one will be after the mid-
term exam.

You will be required to join a group (no less than 4 people). You will be doing an end of
term presentation with this group. Please see the weekly timetable below for presentation
schedule.
Make up Policy
No make up exam will be given if the student misses an exam, unless the student provides
either a valid medical report confirmed by METU NCC Health Center or a legitimate
document provided by a school official (e.g., if the student represents METU NCC in an
event). There will be no make up for in-class assignments and pop-quizzes.
Class Participation
¤ You are expected to participate actively in class discussions. Regular attendance to the
lectures is very important because you can easily learn the core concepts in the

students do the talking, and the lecturer acts as the facilitator of the discussion and
poses key questions/cases.

Exam. Note that an attendance less than 60% of the lectures will lead to an NA grade.
