THE ASME SECTION AMBASSADOR
PROGRAM
WHAT IS AN ASME SECTION AMBASSADOR?
An ASME leader selected from a pool of experts to assist sections as they work to engage and expand
their reach with the local engineering community.

Assignments will serve as opportunities to offer peer to peer support and technical expertise to a
section.
Initial commitment will be one year, and they may extend their service based on their availability and
desire to continue the role.

Ambassadors communicate the Section Op’s mission to all key stakeholders, engage with members and
increase awareness and trust for ASME programs, directives, and goals.
