5. What skills should you learn to achieve independence for the future?
There are some important skills that need to be achieved in order to become independent in the
future. Firstly, skill of Managing the money means that I should have a clear plan of spending
my budget economically. Moreover, they also need learn to develop time-management skills to
divide my daily routine suitably and learn the punctuality. In addition, I can try to set the habit of
planning a to do list and commit myself to complete. Preparing and storing food safely is key to
good health. People who live on their own need to know how to plan meals in advance and how
to shop for groceries. I can also practice cooking simple meals together. Last not the least, I can
set educational and career goals that can help me plan for the future. These goals may include
choosing if I want to continue my education in university or at a technical school and deciding
what subjects I want to studay. Developing interpersonal skills is also necessary because it refers
to how I communicate and interact with other people both verbally and nonverbally. It can help
me build strong relationships with friends, family members and colleagues.
6. What are some problems you have to face when becoming independent? What do you do to
overcome these problems?
When facing up to the independence and becoming an adult, I may encounter many obstacles
such as how to manage my time and money in a reasonable and economical way. Furthermore, I
also have to learn how to set clear goals and plans and fully implement them instead of giving
up. However, I will face a lot of mental pressure because I have to do it alone and don't have
much help from my family anymore. In addition, I may have difficulty communicating at work
with classmates or colleagues, which can sometimes cause misunderstandings. Furthermore, as I
grow up and become independent, I sometimes have to get rid of my personal interests or
opinions to meet the requirements of my work and goals. This can lead to discomfort and
constraint due to lack of personal voluntariness.
However, there are some useful ways to apply to reduce those mentioned issues. Doing Exercise
or take up a favorite sport. Because it helps me reduce stress and improve good health. Then I
will be alert and strong to solve the tasks. In addition, I also need to plan or find time to balance
entertainment and work to help my mental health be better. Besides, when I encounter
difficulties, I can go to counselors or teachers to ask for advice. Or share with family or close
friends to feel more comfortable. Besides, it is also necessary to practice the virtues of patience
and endurance to overcome and gradually adapt better.

7. What are some examples of peer pressure? How do they affect you?
Peer pressure is the influence exerted by a peer group, encouraging individuals to change their
attitudes, values, or behaviors to conform to group norms. For instance, academic performance
or fashion trend means that they can feel pressure to conform to current styles or trends popular
within their friend group. Or social media presence means that peers can influence each other to
frequently post on social media.
Peer pressure can cause some negative consequences such as mental health issues, negative peer
influence can lead individuals to suppress the true emotions and experience disappointment. This
can increase the risk of developing mental health conditions such as depression or
anxiety.Moreover, it also can cause damaged self-esteem means that when conforming to group
expectations that do not align with personal values or interests, individuals may be forced into
suppressing their true selves to feelings of low self-esteem.
8. What are some of social problems facing teens in Vietnam today?
In Vietnam today, many teens have suffered from the anxiety and depression which the cause is
from the pressure of academical performance at school or peer pressure. Bullying is one of the
most pressing issues, some students admitted that they had experienced some form of
cyberbullying. Girls or younger students were more likely to be victims of bullying.Moreover,
there maybe other issues such as issues related to family relationshipos, career choices,cultural
conflict.
