On the onset I take the opportunity to congratulate you and your ward for putting in the best and
achieving results as desired.
It is my privilege to extend to you a warm welcome as revered members of the Adani Public School
family. As you know APS has been in existence for over two decades and has an established
reputation for excellence in academics, sports and art education. Our goal is to develop the potential
in your child in all areas of development, but particularly in the sphere of his/her individual talent. We
believe that working in partnership with you is the most effective strategy to realize the accelerated
development of your child.
We now take this opportunity to provide some important information regarding the school related to
the upcoming session. We will be able to offer you more detailed information in the orientation
programme towards the end of June month.
School Hierarchy
The school functions under the overall leadership of the Principal. The various sections: the Pre-
Primary, the Primary, the Middle, the Secondary, and the Senior Secondary sections are managed by
the Coordinators/ Vice-Principal/ Headmistress who you may contact for any queries or issues to be
resolved regarding your child, preferably through School App.
Special Educator:
The school also has a Special Needs Department which will provide necessary guidance to the
students and parents, if required. We have with a full time dedicated Special Educator for students
with learning disabilities and other disorders which affect learning.
School Uniform:
The regular school uniform needs to be worn on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The House
uniform is as per the colour of the house, which is worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Your ward
must wear it according to the house allotted to him/her.
Students are also required to wear black shoes/white shoes of good quality. You will be informed
about the house allotted to your child at the time of admission or in the Orientation Programme.
Winter uniform should be worn as directed before the start of winter. Gloves/ Scarves/ Earmuffs of
Navy Blue colour is permitted.
On birthdays students may wear decent civil dress which is comfortable.
The uniform may be purchased from any shop of your choice provided it meets the specifications.

Transportation:
In case you have opted for school transportation, the relevant bus numbers and the pick-up and drop
off timings and location will be informed to at the time of admission or Orientation Programme. The
same is also displayed on the school Noticeboard.

Food:
The school encourages home cooked fresh food to be brought by students for lunch time. However,
the school canteen is functional during break time for grades 6 and above.
Students are served hygienically prepared vegetarian snacks on a payment basis. Students can
purchase as per available menu which will be shared separately with you.
In case your child has any food allergies you should inform the school nurse and respective
coordinator or at the school office on 9327379487. Kindly send written information also to the school
regarding the same.
Use of small non-insulated steel water bottle and steel tiffin is promoted. Plastic boxes and bottles
should be avoided as they are carcinogenic in nature.
School Activities:
The school offers opportunities to students to participate in Art, Sports and Co-Curricular. The options
will be provided to you in the school orientation programme. The school activity calendar will be
shared with you by the first week of April. Students should carry required materials and kits as guided
by teachers from time to time.
Assessments:
School believes in creating the love for learning and keeping the environment stress free. We don’t
encourage rote memorization and prioritize conceptual clarity. School follows regular Cycle Tests
(every Wednesdays), Periodic Assessments, Mid-Term and Annual Exams. Details of the same can be
found on the School App. Retests are not encouraged.
School Portal:
All information regarding the school is available in the school ERP (Educational Resource Portal). You
are requested to make use of the School App which will facilitate your interactions with the school.
