Bharat Tex 2025, India's premier global textile event, was held from February 14 to 17, 2025, at
Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event showcased the entire textile value chain, from raw
materials to finished products, across an expansive 2.2 million square feet of exhibition space.
With over 5,000 exhibitors and more than 120,000 trade visitors from 120+ countries, Bharat
Tex 2025 served as a significant platform for industry engagement and collaboration.
The event highlighted key industry segments, including technical textiles, smart manufacturing,
apparel, and handlooms. The Indie Haat section displayed handcrafted and handwoven products
from 85 artisans and weavers, promoting India’s rich textile heritage. A special fashion show,
"Breathing Threads," celebrated sustainable and zero-waste handloom fashion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event, emphasizing India's commitment to
strengthening the textile industry through initiatives like PM MITRA Parks and the PLI Scheme.
He noted a 7% increase in textile and apparel exports, positioning India as the world’s sixth-
