ANNOUNCEMENT
It is for information of the candidates who had applied for the post of Post
Graduale Teacher (PGT) in the subject of computer Science for Rest of Haryana cadre
(Ad\,r. No. 2612023) and Mewat cadre (Advt. No. 36/2023) that the examination
scheduled for 01.10.2023 was postponed vide announcement dated 28.09.2023, in
compliance of order dated28.09.2023 passed by Hon'ble High Court in CWP No. 13816
of 2020 titled as Rajesh Kumar & Ors. V/s State of Haryana & Ors. In the said writ
petition vide order dated 13.12.2023, the Hon'ble High Court had directed as under:-
In the light of the above, the interim stay granted by this Court on
28.09.2023 is vacated and the State is permitted to go ahead with the
selection process in pursuance to the aforesaid two advertisements but by
considering only those candidates, who possess the qualifications
prescribed by the Council for PGT (Computer Science) graduates with the
only exception that in terms of the relaxation granted by the Council, as
above candidates who do not possess the B.Ed. qualification shall also be
considered.
The State is further directed to incorporate the conditions under which
relaxation has been granted by the council in the appointment letters of the
candidates who may be offered appointment as PGT (Computer Science)
who do not possess the B.Ed. qualification.
Accordingly, in compliance of directions passed by the Hon'ble High
court, it has been decided by the commission that only the candidates who possess the
qualifications prescribed by the Council for PGT (Computer Science) would be
considered eligible to participate in the selection process. The qualifications prescribed
by the Council for PGT (Computer Science) are as under:-
\ "Post Graduate with at least 50o% marks (or its equivalent) from
recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) fom National
Council Teacher Education recognized institution. Or
for
Post Graduate with at least 45ol marl<s (or its equivalent) from
recognized university and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National
council for Teacher Education recognized institution (in accordance with
the National Council for Teacher Education) Form of application for
recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of
norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and
permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 noti/ied on
13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition
Norrns and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007) Or
Post Graduate with atleast 50o% marlcs (or its equivalent) from
recognized University and B.A. B.Ed./BSc.Ed. from any NCTE recognized
institution. Or
Post Graduation with a minimum 55o% marks or equivalent grade and
three-year integrated B. Ed.-M. Ed. "
In addition to above, the candidates having the above qualification but not
having B.Ed. qualification would also be considered.
The recruitment test for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in the
subject of Computer Science for Rest of Haryana Cadre (Advt. No.26/2023) and Mewat
Cadre (Advt. No. 3612023) would be held on 15.06.2025 (Evening).
