MESSAGE FOR THE CLASS OF 2024
My dear graduates,

As you stand on the cusp of this momentous occasion, I extend my warmest

congratulations to each and every one of you. Today marks the culmination of years of
hard work, dedication, and perseverance, and it is with great pride that I address you on
this joyous occasion.
Your journey to this point has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable
memories. From the late-night study sessions to the friendships forged in the classroom,
each experience has shaped you into the remarkable individuals you are today. As you
prepare to embark on the next chapter of your lives, I encourage you to reflect on the
lessons learned and the values instilled during your time in academia.
The world that awaits you is one of boundless opportunity and endless possibility. It is a
world that is constantly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Embrace these challenges with courage and conviction, knowing that you possess the
knowledge, skills, and determination to overcome any obstacle that may come your way.
As you embark on this new journey, remember the importance of kindness, compassion,
and empathy. In a world that can often seem divided, it is these qualities that have the
power to unite us and bring about positive change. Treat others with respect and
understanding, and never underestimate the impact that a small act of kindness can
have on the world around you.
I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to acknowledge the unwavering support of
your families, teachers, and mentors who have stood by your side every step of the way.
Their love, guidance, and encouragement have played an instrumental role in your
success, and for that, you owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
As you leave behind the familiar comforts of academia and venture out into the world,
remember that you carry with you the hopes and dreams of those who have come before
you. It is now your turn to make your mark on the world, to pursue your passions with
purpose and determination, and to leave a lasting legacy that will inspire future
generations.
In closing, I leave you with the words of Eleanor Roosevelt: "The
future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
Class of 2024, believe in your dreams, pursue them relentlessly,
and never lose sight of the extraordinary potential that lies within
each and every one of you.
Congratulations once again, and may your futures be
filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment.

Warm regards,

SARA Z. DUTERTE

MESSAGE FOR THE CLASS OF 2024
Isang magandang araw na punong-puno ng pagkakaisa, kasiyahan, at pasasalamat sa
ating lahat mula sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon Rehiyon Diyes sa Amihanang Mindanao.
Graduation and moving-up ceremonies bespeak our learners' passion and resilience to
learn; their parents' selfless love and support for their children's future; our teachers'
competence, compassion, and commitment to teaching and learning; and our
stakeholders' leadership and support for the delivery of quality basic education. All of
them play a synergic and an indispensable role in attaining the Department's educational
and developmental goals.
This year's theme Kabataang Pilipino para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong
Pilipinas emphasizes the critical role of quality basic education in molding the learners as
the prime movers toward a new MATATAG
NG

nation.
Just like how the regional tagline BigaTEN DepEd X: Batang Panatag, Bansang
MATATAG puts it, we designed a responsive and holistic curriculum that is on a par with
global standards, increased our relevant and innovative learning resources, continuously
trained our teachers to enhance their teaching competencies, and strengthened our
engagement with various stakeholders for support. All of these have enabled us to equip
our learners with 21st Century competencies that will make them competently operational
in whatever career path they will pursue and eventually as the "vanguards in building a
stronger and progressive nation.”
Hence, on behalf of my DepEd NorMin Family, I congratulate all our graduates and
completers for the School Year 2023-2024. You succeeded because you did your
homework. Well done!
To the parents, thank you for guiding your children. As their shepherd and inspiration,
you have faithfully stood by them in sunshine and in shadow and made yourselves good
role models. Keep it up!
Likewise, my deepest gratitude and salute to all our teachers for selflessly offering their
time, talents, and resources for our learners notwithstanding the challenges of the new
learning landscape. Carry on!
Finally, to all our stakeholders, your leadership and support
have turned our vision and mission into a reality. Thank you
for your loyal and magnanimous partnership. May your tribe
increase!
Muli, ang aking taus-pusong pagbati, saludo, at pasasalamat
ating isigaw at isulong: MATATAG: Bansang
Makabata, Batang Makabansa!

MESSAGE FOR THE CLASS OF 2024
My sincere congratulations to all those who successfully finished
Grade 10 at El Salvador City National High School in the school
year 2023–2024. My gratitude also extends to the parents and
dedicated teachers who have supported our children in their
studies.
There were challenges in every facet of the educational process during
the course of the academic year, but significant progress has been
made. We attribute this to the parents and other stakeholders who have
shown a willingness to assist the school and offer steadfast support, all
for the benefit of the teachers, staff, and students.
By providing ample opportunities for students to learn and
develop, teachers and administrators have also demonstrated a
remarkable degree of commitment. The students now have the
self-assurance to make wise decisions, overcome obstacles, and
adhere to their goals.
My dedicated teachers and I will continue to support laws and
programs that foster resilient thinking and develop students who
can withstand difficult situations in order to fulfill the goals of
the MATATAG agenda.
Indeed, every endeavor is harmonized with
this year’s theme:"Kabataang Pilipino Para
sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong
Pilipinas," which means "Filipino Youth:
Building a Stronger Future for a New
Philippines," and it truly aligns with
everything that is accomplished. The theme
also emphasizes how important education
is in developing the next generation of
Filipino leaders and change agents who will
help shape a better, more progressive
nation.
Again, Congratulations and
God Bless us all!
