SESSION 7: ESCHATOLOGY
RAPTURE
Are you ready?
RAPTURE of the Church
Is it TRUE?
Before Judgment
Some generation were rescued
Noah from the flood
Lot from the Fire
Nineveh from the judgment
Some passages that confuse some
1. Hebrews 9:27
“And as it is appointed for men to die once,
but after this the judgment”
2. 1 Corinthians 5:50
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
nor does corruption inherit incorruption.”
This word is not in the Bible
“In the Bible it is called “CAUGHT UP”
RESURRECTION
For the DEAD
TRANSLATION
For the LIVING
RAPTURE
This is an event in the future when the genuine followers of Christ
who are still alive will be changed or translated into immortal bodies
and those who died serving the Lord will be resurrected
and together with the translated saints are going to meet Jesus Christ in the air
or heaven then they will proceed to the third heaven or paradise
for the wedding of Jesus Christ and the church
Then to be followed by the marriage supper in heaven.
The next event will be the judgment of the believers works
or the awarding or crowning for those who serve the Lord 100%.
There will be 5 different kinds of crowns during this event in heaven.
CAUGHT UP
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NLT
16 For
the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then,
together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to
meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.
THE MYSTERY
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 NLT
51 But
let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. (I will tell you a mystery)
We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!
52 It
will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye
when the last trumpet is blown.
For when the trumpet sounds,
those who have died will be raised to live forever.
And we who are living will also be transformed.
53 Forour dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be
transformed into immortal bodies.
Philippians 1:6, 10 KJV
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until: the day of
Jesus Christ,
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
Philippians 2:16 KJV
16 Holding forth the word of life;
that I may rejoice in the day of Christ,
that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Philippians 3:20 NIV
20 Butour citizenship is in heaven.
And we eagerly await a Savior from there,
the Lord Jesus Christ,.
Philippians 4:5 NLT
Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
Truth about Rapture
Jesus Christ
2 Corinthians 12:2 NKJV
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago
—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was
caught up to the third heaven.
Phillip
Acts 8:39
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see
him again, but went on his way rejoicing.
Elijah
2 Kings 2:11
As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and
separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
Enoch – The first man raptured
Genesis 5:24
And Enoch walked with God;
and he was not, for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: "He could not be found, because God
had taken him away.”
For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.
I THESS 5:2, 4,5
For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. But you
aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the
Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night.

I THES 5:23
Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept

JESUS CHRIST SAVES
THE TRIBULATION
7 Years
REVIEW OF TRIBULATION
1.This is seven-year period Rev 6-19
between the rapture of the church 1 Thess 4:13- 18
and the millennial kingdom Rev 20:1-8
2. This is a pretribulation/premillennial understanding of the end times.
3. During this time, God’s judgment will be poured out on unbelieving and rebellious humanity in the fullest
measure.
4. This judgment period also will be used to turn the Jewish people back to God and to see the gospel extend to all
the nations Rev 7:9
5. This will be a time of retribution (punishment inflicted on someone as vengeance for a wrong or criminal act),
redemption, and restoration.
REVIEW OF the 70th WEEK OF DANIEL
The Prophecy of the future time is divided into 7-year periods called weeks.
The 70th week corresponds to the tribulation period.
Daniel gives a detailed account of the events that will take place during this period concerning Israel. (Dan. 7-12)
The 70th week is discussed specifically in Daniel 9:24-27.
THE TEACHING OF JESUS
The Teaching of Jesus Jesus predicted the coming of the Tribulation
by telling of the events that would transpire before the return of the Son of Man.
This took place on the Mount of Olives just before His betrayal and crucifixion.
It is often called the “Olivet Discourse.”
Jesus used the soon destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in A.D. 70
as a foreshadowing of the end time Tribulation.
In His teaching he warned the people about various events that would occur leading up to his 2nd Coming in
power and glory.
THE TEACHING OF JESUS
1. Jesus warned against deception and danger, false christ, and false prophet
Matthew 24:4-14
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.
THE TEACHING OF JESUS
1. Jesus warned against deception and danger, false christs, and false prophets
- Matthew 24:4-14
- Mark 13:5- 13
- Luke 21:8-19
2. Jesus warned concerning the abomination of desolation.
- Matthew 24:15-25
- Mark 13:14-23
- Luke 14:10-24
THE TEACHING OF JESUS
2. Jesus warned concerning the abomination of desolation.
Matthew 24:4-14
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (who so readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before.

REVELATION 11
WHO ARE THE 2 WITNESSES?
Elijah & Moses
Resurrection & Ascension
Breath of life
The two dead witnesses are raised to life,
bringing fear on the wicked who were looking
at the corpses (Revelation 11:11).
The witnesses live again, but they prophesy no more because they had finished their testimony before they were
killed (Revelation 11:7).
Come up here! A loud voice called them from heaven saying, "Come up here!" (Revelation 11:12).
The two witnesses went up into heaven in a cloud observed by their enemies. There followed destruction in the
city and people were frightened into giving praise to God (Revelation 11:12-13).

ANTI - CHRIST
THE WORLD LEADER OF
THE NEW WORLD ORDER
ANTICHRIST’S MESSAGE IS
PEACE
1 THESSALONIANS 5:1-3
Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that
the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction
will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
The Four Horsemen
correspond with the first four seals opened by the Lamb
as He opens the scroll of judgment in heaven Revelation 5
When the Lamb opens the first seal
one of the living creatures before the heavenly throne says to John,
in a voice like thunder, “Come!” (Revelation 6:1).
John then records what he sees:
“I looked, and there before me was a white horse!
Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,
and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest” (Revelation 6:2).
The 1st Horseman
The first Horseman likely refers to the Antichrist.
He is the false imitator of the true Christ, who is also associated with a white horse (Revelation 19:11–16).
At the beginning of the tribulation,
the Antichrist will be given authority (“a crown”),
and he will wage war (“a bow”),
conquering all who oppose him.
This description agrees with Daniel’s vision of the
“little horn” that rises to power and is bent on conquest: “This horn was waging war against the holy people and
defeating them” (Daniel 7:21; cf. Revelation 13:7).
The 2nd Horseman
When the Lamb opens the second seal, the second living creature says, “Come!” (Revelation 6:3).
John looks and dutifully records what he sees:
“Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.
Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a
large sword” (Revelation 6:4).
The second Horseman refers to terrible warfare that will break out in the end times. Those wars will include the
Antichrist’s rise to power, which requires the downfall of three other kings (Daniel 7:8),
and the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38—39).
The 3rd Horseman
The Lamb then opens the third seal, and the third living creature invites John to “Come!” (Revelation 6:5).
The third Horseman then appears: “There before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his
hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a
day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!’” (Revelation
6:5–6).
The third Horseman of the Apocalypse portrays a great famine that will take place. Food is scarce, and prices are
inflated beyond reason. The command to spare the oil and the wine seems to signify that the luxuries (oil and
wine) will still be available during the famine, but the staples will not.
The 4th Horseman
When the Lamb breaks open the fourth seal,
the fourth living creature says, “Come!” (Revelation 6:7).
John says, “I looked, and there before me was a pale horse!
Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of
the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth” (Revelation 6:8).
The fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse is symbolic of death and devastation. The horse’s pale color (in the
original language, it’s literally “pale green” or “yellowish green”) denotes sickliness and biliousness.
The fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse will bring further warfare and terrible famines along with awful plagues,
diseases, and attacks by wild animals. A fourth of the world’s population will die.
2. The Trumpet judgments Rev. 8:6-11:19
8 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar.
He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,
on the golden altar in front of the throne.
4
The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people,
went up before God from the angel’s hand.
5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth;
and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
1st TRUMPETS Rev. 8:7
7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood,
and it was hurled down on the earth
A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up,
and all the green grass was burned up.
2nd TRUMPETS Rev. 8:8-9
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the
sea.
A third of the sea turned into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were
destroyed.
3rd TRUMPET. Rev. 8:10-11
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the
rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[k] A third of the waters turned bitter,
and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. (Some believe this is a missile)
4th TRUMPETS Rev. 8:12-13
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the
stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice:“Woe! Woe! Woe to the
inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”
THE 5th TRUMPETS Rev. 9:1-12
9 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth.
The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the
smoke from a gigantic furnace.
The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the
earth and were given power
like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree,
but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them
but only to torture them for five months.
And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes.
6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something
like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces.
8 Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.
9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron,
and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots
rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions,
and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.
11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon
and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).
12 The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.
6th TRUMPET. Rev. 9:13-20
13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is
before God.
14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river
Euphrates.”
15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year
were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten
thousand.
I heard their number.
17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this:
Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur.
The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions,
and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur.
18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire,
smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.
19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails;
for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.
20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues
still did not repent of the work of their hands;
they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze,
stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts,
their sexual immorality or their thefts.
7th TRUMPET Rev. 11:15-19
The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven,
which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God,
fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.
18 Thenations were angry, and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding
your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name,
both great and small and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
19 Thaen God’s temple in heaven was opened,
and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant.
And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings,
peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.
The 7th Trumpet
is the 7 Bowls / Vials
(The Wrath of God)
John saw that there will be 7 angels
who will come from the temple
of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven,
which is where the Ark of the Testimony is.
The Ark represents the law
for the earthly Ark was where
the Ten Commandments were kept
and also represents God’s mercy
because its lid was the Mercy Seat
(where the blood of forgiveness was applied).
In the future,
those who will have rejected God’s law
and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and then accepted the Antichrist,
will receive God’s wrath from the 7 angels
with the 7 bowls.
Revelation 15:5-8
After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. And
out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their
chests girded with golden bands. Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden
bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God
and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were
completed.
John saw 7 angels come out of the temple
of the tabernacle of the testimony.
These angels will have the 7 bowls of God’s wrath and plagues. No one will be able to enter the temple again,
until these plagues will be finished.
Bowl 1 Revelation 16:2
So the first went and
poured out his bowl upon the earth,
and a foul and loathsome sore came
upon the men who had the
mark of the beast (666) and those
who worshiped his image.
Bowl 2 Revelation 16:3
Then the second angel
poured out his bowl on the sea,
and it became blood as of a dead man;
and every living creature in the sea died.
Bowl 3 Revelation 16: 4-6
Then the third angel
poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,
and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying: "You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is
and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and
prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due."
Bowl 4 Revelation 16:8-9
Then the fourth angel
poured out his bowl on the sun,
and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
And men were scorched with great heat,
nd they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent
and give Him glory.“
Bowl 5 Revelation 16:10-11
Then the fifth angel
poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast,
and his kingdom became full of darkness;
and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
Bowl 6 Revelation 16:12
Then the sixth angel
poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates,
and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.
Bowl 7 Revelation 16:17-18
Then the seventh angel
poured out his bowl into the air,
and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
"It is done!" And there were noises
and thunderings and lightnings;
and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred
since men were on the earth.
REVELATION 15:8
The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and
no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
Revelation 11:15-19
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have
become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" And the twenty-four
elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: "We give You thanks, O
Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power
and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be
judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name,
small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth." Then the temple of God was opened in
heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an
earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 16:19-21
Now the great city was divided into three parts,
and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine
of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail
from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent.
Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.
JESUS RETURNS
Revelation 19:11-16
1
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many
crowns
He [a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood,
and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in [b]fine linen, white and clean,
followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a [c]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the
nations.
And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God.
WELCOME TO ETERNITY
