Why is this role important?

As a software engineer at CenturyPay, you’ll drive the strategy and execution of our
product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver
innovative payment solutions. You’ll be responsible for understanding customer
needs, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals. With a
strong focus on data-driven decision-making, you’ll oversee the entire product
lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring our products are scalable, user-friendly,
and market-leading.

●​ Work across the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization to


support
●​ Write maintainable, well-tested code
●​ Work in a cross-functional, vertical team
●​ Deliver value for our customers and drive business impact.
●​ Be a good teammate in an energetic, friendly, and highly skilled group of
engineers
●​ See your contributions impact a rapidly evolving product
●​ Participate in the development and operation of low-latency, large-volume
transaction processing systems

What it takes to be part of the team

●​ Excellent written and verbal English communication skills


●​ Humble, team-oriented and low-ego
●​ BS/BA in Computer Science or a related technical field
●​ Expertise in pixel-perfect HTML/CSS with a strong focus on responsive
design
●​ Experience integrating designs with code using ReactJS/NextJS
●​ Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks, performance optimization, and
cross-browser compatibility
●​ Firm grasp of Computer Science fundamentals
●​ Desire to produce quality software while having experience with Extreme
Programming (XP) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
●​ You're passionate about exploring and adopting new, exciting technologies
●​ Experience working with microservices, relational databases, and
event-driven architectures at scale is a big plus
