We proudly present before you the school newsletter for the second term of the
year 2024-25. The newsletter is packed to the brim with events and celebrations to
capture the essence of undying energy that each Capitolite embodies. This is a
celebration of our students’ achievements and accomplishments, a testimonial to
the fact that they excel in any field of learning they aspire to. This issue is dedicated
to the spirit of these young achievers.

The Book Premiere was held on this day, offering a glimpse into the voting systems
of different countries.The book premiere of “Innovative Practices to Engage Young
Voters in Elections” was successfully held, offering valuable insights into the voting

New Wing Grand Opening
A new wing which has been aptly named as “Sri. V. K. Parthasarathy Memorial Block” of
the additional campus has the new state of the art facilities like temperature controlled
swimming pools and spacious classrooms.

The release of the Coffee Table Book was a moment of pride and celebration,
marking a decade of achievements and the unwavering pursuit of excellence.
This book is more than just a collection of pages; it is a reflection of our
institution’s journey, capturing the essence of dedication, growth, and
transformation.

with the Smt. Kamala Parthasarathy Award. The institution applauds their success and

The Students of Grade X visited The National Gallery of Modern Arts Museum which
displays modern Indian art and houses paintings by Nandalal Bose, Rabindranath
Tagore and a large number of modern and contemporary artists. The trip helped
students learn about art, history, culture and develop critical thinking skills.

Students of Grade VIII were taken to a visit to Gram Panchayat & Taluk Panchayat to
get to know the workings of the local civil bodies.

Capitol Public School, Additional Campus, celebrates the remarkable
achievements of its Special Achievers.
Republic Day
A special assembly was conducted by Grade VII students dressed up as four ISRO
women Scientists Kalpana Kalahasti, Nidhi Porwal, Rima Ghosh and Ritu Karidhal
and spoke about their life, background and their journey to becoming Scientists for
ISRO and various missions they are involved in.
A skit was performed by Grade VI students and paid a tribute to the great scientist
Sir C.V. Raman.

Jnana Deepa Daana
Jnana Deepa Daana, a formal farewell, was hosted by the students of Grade IX for
the students of Grade X. In this event, the Light of Knowledge was symbolically
passed from the class teachers to students. The Principal, Mrs. Indira Kulai, extended
her best wishes to all the students. As a token of remembrance, mementoes were
distributed by the core committee members. The School Head Boy and Sports
Captain formally signed off from their duties by handing over the flags to the
Physical Education Masters.
Jnana Deepa Daana, a formal farewell, was hosted by Grade IX students to honor the
outgoing Grade X batch. The event symbolized the Light of Knowledge being passed
from the class teachers to students. The Principal, Mrs. Indira Kulai, extended her
best wishes, and mementoes were presented as tokens of remembrance. The School
Head Boy and Sports Captain formally handed over their flags to the Physical
Education Masters, marking their sign-off.

school journey, sharing heartfelt gratitude to teachers and mentors.

Capitol Public School's main campus participated in the CBSE Regional Level Science
Exhibition held at Venkat International School on November 19th and 20th, 2024. Two
8th-grade students, Mahesh G and Harshith P, presented their innovative project
"Adaptive Traffic Signaling System" under the Transport & Communication category.
