As part of innovative practices to

ceremonial opening and a traditional pooja. The
occasion was graced by our CEO, Mrs. Indira Kulai
and the core team of the School , who gathered to
witness this auspicious moment

A new wing which has been aptly named as “Sri. V. K. Parthasarathy Memorial Block” of
the additional campus has the new state of the art facilities like temperature controlled
swimming pools and spacious classrooms.

The National Gallery of Modern Arts.

The Students of Grade X visited The National Gallery of Modern Arts Museum which
displays modern Indian art and houses paintings by Nandalal Bose, Rabindranath
Tagore and a large number of modern and contemporary artists. The trip helped
students learn about art, history, culture and develop critical thinking skills.

The special assembly on Republic Day


celebrated the spirit of unity, democracy,

cultural performances, and the national
anthem. It reminded everyone of the
sacrifices made for our freedom and the
responsibilities we hold as citizens.

National Science Day

A special assembly was conducted by Grade VII students dressed up as four ISRO
women Scientists Kalpana Kalahasti, Nidhi Porwal, Rima Ghosh and Ritu Karidhal
and spoke about their life, background and their journey to becoming Scientists for
ISRO and various missions they are involved in.
A skit was performed by Grade VI students and paid a tribute to the great scientist
Sir C.V. Raman.

This year's theme focused on the significance of science in our daily lives. Students
took center stage, showcasing their creativity and knowledge through impressive role-
plays.
The young participants highlighted the importance of science in various aspects of life,
such as:
- The benefits of using turmeric face packs
- The significance of Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) for physical and mental well-
being
These innovative presentations not only entertained the audience but also educated
them on the practical applications of science.

Dasara, also known as Dussehra, is a vibrant Hindu festival symbolizing the
victory of good over evil, celebrated with grand processions, cultural
performances, and festive rituals. It marks the triumph of Lord Rama over
Ravana and Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura, filling the air with joy
and devotion.

Jnana Deepa Daana, a formal farewell, was hosted by the students of Grade IX for
the students of Grade X. In this event, the Light of Knowledge was symbolically
passed from the class teachers to students. The Principal, Mrs. Indira Kulai, extended
her best wishes to all the students. As a token of remembrance, mementoes were
distributed by the core committee members. The School Head Boy and Sports
Captain formally signed off from their duties by handing over the flags to the
Physical Education Masters.

Exhibition held at Venkat International School on November 19th and 20th, 2024. Two
8th-grade students, Mahesh G and Harshith P, presented their innovative project
