Power
Insert the supplied AC power cords into the redundant power supply receivers in
the back of the unit, and connect the other end of each to an appropriate power
outlet. It is recommended that you use a well-grounded, isolated power source. If
needed, press the power button for about 1 second to power up the unit.
Setup
a. Open an internet browser and type the IP address shown
on the device’s LCD screen.
b. In the wizard that launches, enter a valid email address
as your user ID
c. Enter a password and select your time zone.
d. If the license box indicates ‘Invalid License’, upload a new
license then click Finish. If the device already has a valid
license, just click Finish.
e. Log in to ThreatARMOR with the credentials you just created.
Inline Topology
Matching the topology diagram to the right, on each
side of your firewall and security devices, insert
Ethernet cables into ports 1 and 2 for WAN ingress
and ports 3 and 4 for LAN egress from your network.

Passive Topologies
On the Operation Mode screen in the user interface, disable packet
forwarding to prevent problems when connected to SPAN ports.
Management
Matching the topology diagram to the right,
connect a network tap to each link between
your Firewall and WAN, then connect the taps
to ports 1 and 2.
Span Configuration
Matching the topology diagram to the right,
connect a SPAN port mirroring all traffic
between your firewall and WAN to ports 1 and 2
through a network packet broker. Use the
network packet broker to direct the outbound
traffic (source = firewall) to port 2 and inbound
traffic (dest = firewall) to port 1.
