Logger Module2 User Manual

1. Block diagram

2. Features
 All types of aRacer ECU supported, including -
RC1/2 Super/Super2 、RC1/2、RC Mini 5、RC Mini 、RC Mini+、
RS1/2
 Other accessories supported such as -
Race Function Module (GPS data…)、Lap Receiver、AF1 Module、
Exhaust Temperature Module、Coolant Temperature Module
 Plug and Play.
 18~50 hours of record length of time depends on accessories and
status of engine running.
 Longer record time allowed by adjusting data rate (minimum
0.5Hz).
 Three 0~5V analog signal input channels.
 Two 0~5V analog signal input channels for suspension stroke.
 The logged data can be analyzed with aRacer iView application.

3. Analog signal input wiring


Front suspension AD (0~5000 mV)
6 months Rear suspension AD (0~5000 mV)
AD1 (0~5000 mV)(*)
AD2 (0~5000 mV)(*)
AD3 (0~5000 mV)(*)

(* Analog input displayed on iView is EXIN_AD1, EXIN_AD2, EXIN_AD3)


4. Export log data 5. Adjust data rate
4.1 Connect logger module to PC/NB via USB (A-B) cable.
5.1 Click “Set Data Rate”
5.2 Choose a data rate option, then
click ”OK” button.
“Default” means it depends on ECU
default rate.
5.3 The 10ms rate would be only for
suspension stroke and parameters of
Race Function module .
4.2 Execute application  Check Port  Click [Connect]
4.3 It might display the built time if “Race Function” installed. 6. Suspension stroke
4.4 Choose a file  Click ”Save to PC ”icon on right bottom. 6.1 Name the suspension
4.5 Check file name and save to PC. 6.2 Fill the sensor working Min/Max voltage(mv)
4.6 the log file can be analyzed with aRacer iView application. 6.3 Fill the Min/Max sensor stroke(mm)
Disconnect
Connect Refresh port Set Data Rate 6.4 Fill the Zero point (See the following zeroing process)
6.5 Click the “Save and Exit”to finish the suspension stoke setting

7. Parameters from each module


Clear all files Save to PC 7.1 ECU(Such as Super2..) includes over 100 parameters.(Depend on
ECU Type)
7.2 Race Function module includes19 parameters.
4.7 User can clear all file by click “Clear all files” icon by left-click
7.3 AF1 module includes 2 parameters(Wide band AFR、Sensor Status)
and then click “OK” to finish the process.
7.4 Lap Receiver includes 2 parameters(Lap count、Lap time)
7.5 Exhaust temperatures
7.6 Coolant temperatures
