2. All questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice of approximately 30% is provided. 3. Section A has 12 questions carrying 01 mark each 4. Section B has 7 Very Short Answer (VSA) type questions carrying 02 marks each. 5. Section C has 4 Short Answer (SA) type questions carrying 03 marks each. 6. Section D has 1 Long Answer (LA) type question carrying 04 marks. 7. Section E has 2 Source Based / Case Based / Passage based questions carrying 04 marks each.

(b) Give at least two advantages of using the memory stick. SECTION-E (8 marks) 25 There are broadly two types of memories in a computer system:- Main memory or Primary Memory: The memory that holds data and instructions during processing. It is temporary memory. It has limited storage capacity. Auxiliary memory or Secondary Memory: The memory that can store data/files for later use i.e., permanently. It has large storage capacity. Based on above, answer the following questions: 1. Name two types of memory. 2. Primary memory is also called ____________ memory. 3. Name two types of secondary storage devices. 4.
