STUDENT AT HOME
Temperament Behavior Study Habits
My child is very energetic and social at home. He enjoys interacting with family
members and playing games, but he can sometimes be a bit distracted by his
surroundings.
He loves to participate in class discussions and is eager to share his ideas with his
classmates. While he can be easily distracted, I see his social nature as a strength that
helps him connect with others and work well in group settings. With the right
support, I believe he has great potential to excel.
I make myself available to help him with any subjects he finds challenging.
By celebrating his achievements, no matter how small, and my goal is to foster a good
learning environment where he feels confident and motivated to learn.
5. As a parent what is/are your expectations and aspirations for your child?
I hope my child learns to manage his energy and distractions effectively while
developing a love for learning. I want him to be confident in his abilities and to enjoy
his educational journey.
ANALYSIS:
Identify characteristics of parents who motivates and nurtures their child to learn.
Supportive and Encouraging Positive Role Model
Parents
Describe how each of the following might affect the learner’s motivation and achievement
Parent’s Involvement
This will help to monitor the student performance if the parent regularly monitors their child’s performance,
example of this is Parent Teacher Assembly or PTA, homeroom meeting and etc. these events or meetings will
help the parent to assess the performance of the student together with the teacher they can collaborate to help the
child improve its performance by the help of parent support, encouragement, and also provide healthy learning
environment.
Parent’s Culture
This is one of the major contributors when it comes to shaping learners’ behavior, for the reason of the family
itself who are teaching the values and how the learners portrait. Example of this if the parent is showing positive
parenting like providing guidance to their child, for sure the child will be adopted and will reflect to the behavior
of the child providing better performance in school because of the guidance of the student.
Parent’s Income
This will provide positive reinforcement towards the student in the way of financial support if the
parent’s income can provide the financial needs of the student this will help them to improve their
performance.
Parent’s Educational Achievement
This will inspire and encourage the child to finish their studies due to family members achievements.
This will help to boost their willingness to learn.
