How to write an efficient lab report.

 Images should be clear and easy to draw. (You can draw schematic diagrams)
 Objective, Discussion, and assignment (If asked to answer) should be answered uniquely
and clearly.
Lab Report Structure (Your course teacher can ask you to add or remove any of the below for
convenience)
 Objective: Write down the objective of the experiment.
 Apparatus: Write down the name of various apparatus used in the
experiment.
 Experimental Setup: Draw the experimental setup and mark
different parts of the setup.
 Data Collection and Tabulation: Prepare a data table (as given in
the lab sheet) and put the data collected from the experiment in that
table.
 Results: Write down various results tables and attach different graphs
as specified in the lab sheet.
 Sample Calculation: Provide a sample calculation done in each of
the tables shown in the result section.
 Discussion: State different shortcomings and limitations of the
experiment in your own language.
 Assignment: Questions related to the lab report that you should answer.
Your course teacher will provide lab sheet for relevant information for the lab, and you will be
asked to get the data by completing the experiment for tabulation.
