The fee will remain the same for both first attempts and repeat attempts.
The normal examination fee for the course on the NASSCOM portal is ₹600. However,
as per the MoU signed by KTU with NASSCOM, the assessment is offered at
a special discounted rate for KTU students.
9. Do Students Need to Pay Any Additional Fee for the Digital 101 Online
Examination?
No, students do not need to pay any additional fee for the Digital 101 online examination. The
normal examination fee for the Digital 101 course is ₹600, but as per the MoU signed between
KTU and NASSCOM, KTU students are provided with a discounted rate, and the amount is
covered under the fee paid during S1 exam registration on the KTU portal.
Students will receive an assessment voucher code via their registered email ID (as per KTU

records). When entering the voucher code on the Future Skills Prime platform, the examination
fee will be automatically set to ₹0 instead of ₹600.
The assessment voucher code will be shared only through the registered email IDs on
the KTU portal.
Students must not share their voucher codes with others, as each code is unique and
linked to a specific student.
Only one student can use a particular assessment code to attend the exam.
Students must ensure they enter the correct voucher code at the time of examination to avail of
the fee waiver.
10. What are the scheduled examination dates for Digital 101?
The Digital 101 examination will be conducted in three phases:
First Exam – First week of March 2025
Second Exam – Last week of March 2025
Third Exam – First week of June 2025

16. What is the minimum mark required to pass the Digital 101 examination?
Students must secure a minimum of 50% to pass the Digital 101 examination.
17. What Happens If a Student Fails in the First Attempt of the Digital 101
Examination?
Students who fail in the examinations conducted in March or April 2025 will have another
opportunity to appear for the exam in May/June 2025.
Students must re-register for the Digital 101 course on the KTU portal before the June
examination.
They are required to pay the examination fee again before the reattempt.
The exam schedule for the second attempt will be published by the University in due
course.
18. Why are students below 18 years facing issues while registering on the Future
Skills Prime portal?
The FutureSkills Prime portal does not allow learners under 18 years to sign up without parental
consent. Students aged 17 to 18 years must follow a special registration process to complete
their Digital 101 course enrolment.
19. How can students below 18 years register for Digital 101 on the Future Skills
Prime portal?
Students below 18 years should follow these steps to complete their registration:

Step 8: Once the guardian approves, the student must log in again using their
credentials.
Step 9: The student must complete additional profile details as prompted.
Step 10: After completing the profile setup, the student can access and begin the Digital
101 course.
20. What happens if the guardian does not approve the registration request?
The student will not be able to proceed with the course registration until the guardian approves
the request. It is important to inform the guardian to check their email and complete the
approval process promptly.
21. Is there a deadline for students below 18 years to complete their registration?
Yes, students must complete their registration and course enrolment before 27-02-2025 to be
eligible for the Digital 101 examination.
22. When can students register and complete the Digital 101 course?
Students have the flexibility to register and complete the Digital 101 course either in their first
semester (S1) or second semester (S2). However, the 1 credit for this course will be officially
recorded in the second semester (S2) grade card.
