4. Find the perimeter of a square of side 6 cm.

5. Solve: 3x−5=103x - 5 = 10.

6. Find the mode of the data set: 4,5,6,4,7,4,8,64, 5, 6, 4, 7, 4, 8, 6.

7. Write the supplement of an angle measuring 65∘

8. Find the area of a rectangle with length 8 cm and breadth 5 cm.

9. Find the HCF of 36 and 48.

10. Express 49 as the square of a prime number.

Section B (2 marks each)

(Attempt any seven questions)

11. Multiply: 7/3 * 9/4

12. Write the reciprocal of 5/7 & -3/8.

13. Find the simple interest on Rs. 5000 at 8% per annum for 2 years.

14. Find the value of 3^4 / 3^2.

15. A wire is bent into the shape of a circle of radius 7 cm. Find its length (Take π=22/7= (22/7).

16. Convert 2/3 into decimal form.

17. Write the prime factorization of 144.

18. The difference between two numbers is 18. Their sum is 82. Find the numbers.

22. A shopkeeper earns a profit of 20% on selling an article. If the cost price is Rs. 400, find the

24. The perimeter of a rectangle is 36 cm. If its length is 10 cm, find its breadth and area.

25. Find the sum of the first 10 natural numbers.

26. The sum of the digits of a two-digit number is 9. If the number obtained by reversing the digits is
27 more than the original number, find the number.

27. The length of a rectangular field is 15 m more than its breadth. If the perimeter is 90 m, find its
length and breadth.

28. Draw a bar graph for the following data:

• Hindi: 45 students

29. A man deposited Rs. 10,000 in a bank at a 6% annual interest rate. Find the amount he will
receive after 3 years with simple interest.

30. The angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio 2:3:4:5. Find all the angles.

31. A train travels 360 km in 4 hours. Find its speed in km/h and m/s.

32. Solve the equation 2(x−3)+4=162(x - 3) + 4 = 16.
