A NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL


IN CHILD PROTECTION in accordance to DepEd Order No. 40
s. 2012 known as DepEd Child Protection Policy and
Republic Act No. 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act

In accordance with RA No. 10627 “Adoption of Anti-Bullying


Policy and DepEd Order No. 40 s. 2012 which was focused on an act
requiring all Elementary and Secondary Schools to adopt policies to
prevent and address the acts of bullying in their institutions.
In line with this, ___________________ School conducted a School
Learning Action Cell last February 13, 2025, 11:00AM to 1:00PM at
___________________________, C______, ____________ City.
The SLAC aims to capacitate teachers, school personnel and SPTA
officers on systematic and viable measures to effectively carry out a
mechanism of prevention, intervention, and resolution to address all
forms of abuse, bullying and other conditions committed against
children in school; ensure that student discipline is consistent with
positive discipline and restorative justice principle and guarantee the
protection and well-being.
The program started at 11:30 am, with the Nationalistic Song and
a prayer led via AVP. Ensuring presence of the participants through
Checking of Attendance by Mrs. Lisa P. Capangpangan Grade 3 Teacher
____________________________________ enlighten the participants as
he states the purpose of the of the SLAC session to the teaching and
learning process.
The session properly started with the very engaging topic of
_________________________ with different DepEd Order related to bullying
and Child Abuse that may guide the teachers in addressing bullying
cases and the due process of bullying cases.
____________________ discussed the express system of reporting of
Bullying and Child Abuse cases within the school in help of the SPTA.
The delicious lunch was served and added to the delight of the
participants.
The most overwhelm part of the program was the awarding of
certificates as it just not gifts the certificate of recognition but also
symbolizes the appreciation of hardship of the Technical Working
Committee and the feeling of thankfulness of the organizers in the
committees that makes the event possible and successful.
The session ended successfully as all the teachers participate
actively.
