We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the Master of Business
Administration (MBA) – Lateral Entry (hereinafter referred to as “Program”) by Jindal Global
Business School,
O.P. Jindal Global University, facilitated by upGrad Education Private Limited (hereinafter referred
to as “upGrad”) based on your academic details. This admission was granted upon your successful
completion of the first-year MBA examinations, making you eligible for direct entry into the
program's second year.
This Lateral Entry Program is offered by the Jindal Global Business School (“JGBS”). The
duration of the Program shall be 10 months. (Second Year Only).
The Program begins on Feb 01, 2025 (“Cohort Commencement Date”). The program is
delivered in an online mode. Assessments and final examinations will be conducted online through
the Mercer Mettl platform, and learners are expected to adhere to the university’s examination
guidelines. The duration of the Program depends on various factors, and it may be changed under
certain circumstances. Learners will be kept informed about the same well in advance.
The Program is designed to prepare business leaders for the future. Aspiring industry captains of
tomorrow such as yourself will require a comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals
and an opportunity to pursue your area of specialization. The pedagogy of the Program
emphasizes learning through discovery rather than instruction, problem-solving instead of rote-
learning, and critical thinking as opposed to acquiring knowledge as information. The MBA
program is structured to equip you with the basics of management while enabling you to also gain
specialized knowledge in select domains.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. Successful completion of the first year of
an MBA program from Jindal Global Business School.
The breakup for the Total Program Fee is mentioned below, more particularly in ‘Table-A’.
To confirm your acceptance of this offer, please complete the admission formalities as applicable:
● ‘Caution Amount’ of INR INR 5000 to be paid within one (1) day of receiving this offer
letter or the Cohort Commencement Date or before end term exams whichever is
earlier.
● Post paying the Caution Amount, you can pay the remainder of the Total Tuition Fees of
INR INR 155000 (“Balance Amount”) by using one of the following options:
a) Self- Payment Methods: Netbanking, Credit card, Debit card, Credit Card EMI or
Wallet facilities to complete the balance payment.
b) Loan Facilities: You can also apply for an EMI loan. You would need to submit the
loan application form and ensure that all loan-related formalities are completed
within seven (7) days of Caution Amount payment, or Cohort Commencement Date,
whichever is earlier. Please note that upGrad may, at its sole discretion help you
secure financing with a financing partner, however, should you choose to avail such
financing services, the terms and conditions including user agreements of the
chosen payment service provider or the credit facility provider will also be directly
applicable to you and those agreements or terms shall remain outside upGrad’s
purview. Any credit facility services incurred by you and charged directly by the
financing partner which includes any bank charges, transaction charges or any
other charges not received directly by upGrad, shall not be refundable under any
circumstances.
Loan Type Clarification: Please note that the financial support provided by the third-party credit
facilitator for our program is in the form of a Personal Loan, not an Educational Loan. This
distinction means that the loan does not come with tax benefits or other amenities. We strongly
advise all learners to carefully consider this information before proceeding with enrollment.
● Learners opting for self-payment modes will need to pay the remainder of Balance
Amount, within seven (7) days of payment of Caution Amount, or the Last Date of
Admission, or before the next semester's examinations, whichever is earlier.
● Learners opting for loan facilities will need to apply for the Balance Amount within seven
(7) days of payment of the Caution Amount, or the Cohort Commencement Date,
whichever is earlier.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy
Please remember to submit your program eligibility documents within 7 (seven) days of paying the
Caution Amount or before the Cohort Commencement Date, whichever is earlier.
Kindly avoid sharing your documents via email or WhatsApp. Instead, upload them directly on the

This offer of provisional admission to the Program is subject to the submission of required
documents according to the universities' guidelines. It's essential to submit program eligibility
documents within 7 (seven) days after paying the Caution Amount or before the Cohort
Commencement Date, whichever is earlier. Admission validity requires subsequent verification by
the Documents Team.
If the eligibility criteria aren't met or the necessary documents aren't submitted by the specified
deadline, or if there are discrepancies between the application and uploaded documents, including
incorrect grade details or any other inaccurate information provided in the application, the
admission may be cancelled at any time during the program. In such cases, the
certificate/diploma/degree related to the program will not be issued or granted. Additionally, any
amount paid towards the Total Program Fee will be non-refundable regardless of the
circumstances mentioned above.
Failure to submit all documents within the specified timeframe may result in de-enrolment from the
