2. I will begin finding a topic for my research argument through
Quicklisting: my interests, career, college major, hobbies, what people
around me are talking about (family, friends), what is in the news,
history that interests me, what is on my mind…

Thur 1/11 and Fri 1/12:

2. I will use a topic generator activity--10 mins browse news and add to
my ongoing list of possible topics
3. We will take notes on a quick database lesson on finding topics; I will
add to my list of hot topics based on database searches [handout

a. Do you see internal citations with either an author or title?
b. Does the Works Cited Page look correctly formatted?
c. Did they lead into and indicate where sourced info begins and
ends
4. I will edit my essay using add ons, peers, and handouts

everything, perfect grammar)!

Wed 2/28
