DC power supply DPU60D-N06A1 (≤ 8.5 kg)
unit (PSU):
Lithium battery: DBU50B-N12A3 (≤ 28 kg)
There are two types of pole mounting kits: 21150763 and 21151940. The applicable pole
diameter ranges from 50 mm to 114 mm. The installation methods of the two types of pole
mounting kits are the same. Section 5 "Installing PSUs and Lithium Batteries" uses the
21150763 as an example.
Pole mounting kits 21151940 cannot be combined with other mounting kits.

3 Installation Scenarios
In the small pole scenario, the pole diameter is 60 mm to 114 mm. In the large pole
scenario, the pole diameter is 114 mm to 400 mm. The recommended thickness of the pole
wall is 4 mm or above.
The distance between the lower end of the pole mounting kit and the ground is greater than
or equal to 800 mm. The recommended distance ranges from 800 mm to 1200 mm.
In the multi-layer installation scenario, if modules are installed in the back-to-back mode, the
distance between pole mounting kits must be greater than or equal to 300 mm. If modules
are installed on the same side, the distance between pole mounting kits must be greater
than or equal to 900 mm.
Select an appropriate pole based on site requirements. The following uses the small pole
scenario as an example.
This section uses a maximum of two PSUs and eight lithium batteries as an example.

Cross-sectional area of
the cable core: 16 mm2
Stay away from the equipment when preparing cables to prevent cable scraps from
entering the equipment. Cable scraps may cause sparks and result in personal injury and
equipment damage.
Do not connect aluminum cables to connectors directly to prevent electrochemical
corrosion of copper and aluminum.
AC and DC power cables must be multi-core cables. Otherwise, water leakage may occur
on the waterproof connectors.
Do not use cables with solid conductors (class 1) or stranded conductors (class 2). You are
advised to use cables with flexible copper conductors (class 5) or extra flexible copper
conductors (class 6).
The system supports 220 V AC single-phase input and 110 V AC dual–live wire input.

The PSU communicates with the NetEco by connecting to the RRU and BBU.
If there is a BBU or RRU3xxx at the site, the RS485 port is preferentially used to report
monitoring alarms.
17
Connecting a PSU and a BBU (Using the BBU3910 as an Example)
When the NMS is the NetEco and multiple PSUs are connected in parallel, only one PSU can be
connected to the MON0 or MON1 port on the BBU.

8 Power-On Commissioning
1. Switch off the upstream AC circuit breaker between the AC power source and the power
system, and use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the circuit breaker. The value should
range from 90 V AC–290 V AC.
2. Check the indicators on the PSU and lithium battery. If the running indicator is blinking green
and the alarm indicator is off, the PSU and lithium battery are working properly.
3. Observe the power system for about 15 minutes. If no alarm indicator is on, the system is
running properly.
9 LIVE-C App
9.1 LIVE-C
InstallingApp
the LIVE-C App
LIVE-C App icon
There is a mobile phone running Android 6.0 or later.
The mobile phone can properly connect to the Internet.
The PSU needs to support the mobile app function and the
connection mode is WiFi connection.
1. On the Huawei technical support website ( https://support.huawei.com ), select the Software
tab and search for the product software LIVE app to obtain the latest LIVE-C app installation
package.
2. Install the LIVE-C App on the mobile phone.
19
9.2 Logging In to the LIVE-C App
Prerequisite
The GPS function and permission for the Site app have been enabled.
The mobile phone should be within 5 m (without obstacles) away from the power equipment.
You have obtained the app user name and password.
When connecting to the power supply device for the first time, you need to enter the WiFi
password.
After the first login, change the password in time to ensure account security and prevent
unauthorized network attacks, such as data tampering. Huawei will not be liable for any loss
caused by the failure to change the LIVE-C app password in a timely manner or the forgetting
of the changed password (the password cannot be retrieved if it is lost).
Changing the LIVE-C app password: System Settings > Change Password
Changing the WiFi password: System Settings > Change WIFI Password
WiFi password reset: Press the WiFi button for three consecutive times within 10 seconds (at an
interval of 1 second).
The mobile phone app may be occasionally disconnected due to difference in phone model and
WiFi signal strength. Connect again later.
The power supply device SN (see the label) and WiFi name have the same last six digits.
1. Press and hold the WiFi button on the PSU and wait for
more than 2 seconds. The WiFi button indicator is steady
green.
2. Tap the LIVE-C App icon access the home page.
3. Setting the language: Me > Language.
4. Tap Power System Delivery, access the login screen.
5. Tap WiFi connection in the login screen of the App, to
search and connect for power equipment with WiFi
nearby.
6. Enter the WiFi password. (preset password: Changeme)
7. Enter the user name and password. (initial user name:
liveapp, initial password: Changeme_123)
8. Tap Login to access Main Function Menu.

9.3 Managing the Power System over the NetEco
You have obtained the adapter package from Huawei technical support engineers.
If a SIM card with the wireless data service activated is used, set Network Operator to
Automatic in out-of-band wireless networking. If the networking fails, change Network
Operator to Other and set related parameters by referring to the following table.
If the APN SIM card is used, set Network Operator to Other, ask the APN SIM card user to
obtain the APN parameters, and set the APN parameters.
User Name - 'a–z', ' A–Z', '0–9', '_', '#', '@', '*',
'-', '.' (a maximum of 28
characters)

10LIEFollow-up
App Operations
1. Reinstall caps and waterproof connectors on all unused ports of the modules.
2. Bind the cables.
3. Ensure that the paint on the module exterior is intact. If paint has flaked off, repaint the area to
avoid corrosion.
4. Clean the site and leave.
FAQ: How
LIE AppDo I Expand the Capacity of DC Loads?
Restricted by the load fuse of the PSU, the total DC load connected to the four-way connector
(04152542) cannot exceed the power that one load fuse can withstand.
The DC output power cable connected to the four-way connector (04152542) must meet the
following requirements: 2.5–6 mm² conductor and 11–15 mm cable outer diameter.
When adding DC loads, you do not need to connect the ground cable of the four-way
connector to the site ground bar. You are advised to wrap the ground cable with insulation
tape.
