ABOUT LTSU
Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab is established by the Govt of Punjab under Punjab State Act No 22 of 2021 and is
recognised by UGC New Delhi under UGC Act 1956. LTSU is the first of its kind Industry led Skill University in India incubated by IBM
as an anchor partner, Tata Technologies & Ansys Corporation as Industry partners and UK-based NRI has given 100 acres of land with
a building for this university. The university campus is located in the foothills of Shivalik on the bank of Satluj River near Ropar. LTSU
has been recognised as a University "of" the industry, "for" the industry, and "by" the industry. Partnering with global tech giants to
structure the curriculum, making students industry-ready by training in skill-based courses, mentored by leading industry experts
and academicians, LTSU is a place where harmony between technology and applied skills shall not only address the crucial skill gap
but shall also be a nursery for nurturing Global Leaders. LTSU aims to contribute in making India a skill capital of the world by skilling
the young workforce of India.
ABOUT ISTE
The ISTE is a premier national organization dedicated to advancing technical education and fostering professional
excellence among educators and students. Established in 1968, ISTE focuses on enhancing the quality of technical education
in India by providing a platform for knowledge sharing, professional networking, and skill development. ISTE has an
Executive Council at National level. It has active membership of more than 141431 technical teachers, more than 3304
institutional members (including IITs, IISc., NITs and other leading technical institutions), 1480 faculty chapters and 1837
students’ chapters throughout the country and 19 Sections at State Level.
ABOUT THE CONVENTION
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is organizing first of its kind 54th National Annual Convention at Lamrin Tech Skills
University Punjab (LTSU) on “Vision 2047: Transforming the Education System for Making India Skill Capital of the World,” to shape
India’s skilled workforce for the global stage on February 13-14, 2025. Bringing together Vice-Chancellors, faculty members, and
students from across India, with a total participation of over 5,000 individuals, the event aims to discuss and shape the future of
education and skill development.
Yuva Kaushal Utsav is a landmark event that brings together universities, academicians, students, and community members from
across the country to celebrate skills and promote education. It provides a platform for showcasing technical expertise, music,
dance, theatre, literary, and fine arts, fostering innovation and practical learning beyond traditional methods. By emphasizing
hands-on experiences, it enhances abilities, consolidates knowledge, and serves as a real-life platform for skill recognition, while
also fostering unity and diversity among the youth. Also, the Principals' Conclave, an event that will bring together visionary school
leaders, aims to foster collaboration and explore innovative strategies for transformative, future-ready education.

strategic collaborations. The discussions will aim to identify actionable solutions for transforming Indian

FACULTY CONCLAVE : "BUILDING SKILLS, EMPOWERING LIVES, DRIVING PROGRESS."
THEME: Empowering Communities: Interdisciplinary Education for Sustainable Development
As a part of Faculty Conclave a National Conference will be organised on “Empowering Communities:
Interdisciplinary Education for Sustainable Development” with the aims to bring together academicians,
researchers, and thought leaders to delve into the transformative potential of interdisciplinary
education in addressing pressing societal challenges. Faculty members will share insights, engage in
thought-provoking discussions, and set the foundation for progressive education practices.

Tracks for Research Poster Presentation: Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Emerging Technologies and
Sustainable Development
National Ideathon and Project Exhibition: A National Ideathon will be organized to stimulate creative
problem-solving among students and finale will be organised in association with IBM. Alongside Project
Exhibition will showcase groundbreaking projects from students across disciplines, highlighting their
contributions to skill development and technological innovation.

REGISTRATIONS
Inspirational Session with Honourable Governor of Punjab: The selected students will be
provided a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on the above mentioned
theme with the Honourable Governor of Punjab, sharing ideas and gaining insights. This
