[Opening Remarks – Leader]

"Good [morning/afternoon], everyone. We, [Your Group Name], are here to present our project
proposal titled Green Tayud: A Community Tree Planting Initiative. This project aims to
address environmental concerns in Barangay Tayud by planting trees to reduce heat, improve
air quality, and enhance the natural surroundings. We believe that through community
participation, we can create a greener and healthier environment for everyone."

[Project Rationale – Member 1 & 2]

Member 1: "Barangay Tayud is experiencing increased urbanization, leading to deforestation

and rising temperatures. The lack of trees contributes to heat, flooding, and poor air quality."

Member 2: "To address this, we propose a tree planting initiative in key areas such as near the
barangay hall, schools, and vacant lots. Trees will provide shade, help in flood prevention, and
promote environmental awareness."

[Project Objectives – Member 3 & 4]

Member 3: "Our project has three main objectives:"

1. To plant trees in strategic locations within Barangay Tayud.

2. To educate residents on the importance of environmental
conservation.
3. To involve the community in maintaining and caring for the newly
planted trees."

Member 4: "With these objectives, we aim to create a long-term impact that will benefit future
generations."

[Project Implementation Plan – Members 5, 6 & 7]

Member 5: "The project will be implemented in three phases:"

Member 6:
 Phase 1: Preparation – Coordination with the barangay council,
securing tree donations, and gathering necessary materials.
 Phase 2: Tree Planting Event – Organizing volunteers for the actual
planting process.
 Phase 3: Maintenance – Assigning caretakers to water and protect the
trees."

Member 7: "We will collaborate with the barangay officials and local organizations to ensure
the trees are well-maintained."

[Budget Plan – Members 8 & 9]

Member 8: "We have allocated a total budget of ₱1,500, which will be distributed as follows:"

Member 9: "We will also seek additional support from local businesses for more tree saplings
and gardening supplies."

[Target Beneficiaries – Members 10 & 11]

Member 10: "This project will benefit:

 Residents of Barangay Tayud by improving air quality and reducing

heat.
 Students and youth by educating them on environmental
sustainability.
 Barangay officials by strengthening community involvement in green
initiatives."

Member 11: "A greener community enhances overall health and well-being for everyone."

[Monitoring & Evaluation – Members 12, 13 & 14]

Member 12: "To ensure long-term success, we will implement a monitoring plan."

Member 13:

2. Conduct monthly inspections to track tree growth.
3. Barangay officials will oversee the long-term maintenance of the
trees."
Member 14: "We will document progress through photos and reports to assess the impact of the
project."

[Legal Basis – Members 15 & 16]

Member 15: "Our project aligns with the following environmental laws:"

 Republic Act No. 10176 (Arbor Day Act of 2012) – Encourages

tree planting in local communities.
 Presidential Decree No. 1152 (Philippine Environmental Code) –
Promotes environmental protection and reforestation.
 Republic Act No. 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act
of 2000) – Supports sustainable community projects.

supported."
