The given line graph provides data about how many foreign citizens visited

three different places in a European country from 1987 to 2007.

Overall, it is obvious that tourism has significantly increased for all three
places over the whole period. The coast still remained as the most popular
visited place how it was at the beginning while the mountains and the lakes
showed reverse trend.
To start with, in 1987, 40 thousands of people had visited the coast, which
then, this number has risen steady till it accounted about 75 thousands in
2007 apart from a decrease down to a bit more than 30 thousands in 1992.
On the other hand, the mountains had doubled more visitors than the
lakes with 20 and 10 in 1987 respectively. Unexpectedly, the figure for the
lakes rocketed up to more than 70 thousands in 2002 making it even the
highest one among other two places, but this continued with a drop to fifty
thousands at the end whereas a number for the mountains showed steady
growth over five years accounting approximately 35 thousand visitors in
2007.

The given line graph provides data about how many foreign citizens visited
three different places in a European country from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, it is clear that tourism significantly increased in all three destinations over
the period. The coast remained the most popular destination, as it was at the
beginning, while the mountains and the lakes followed contrasting trends.
To start with, in 1987, 40,000 people had visited the coast. This number then rose
steadily until it accounted for about 75,000 in 2007, apart from a decrease to just
over 30,000 in 1992.
In contrast, the mountains had twice as many visitors as the lakes, with 20,000
and 10,000 in 1987, respectively. Unexpectedly, the number of visitors to the
lakes rose sharply to more than 70,000 in 2002, making it the highest among the
three destinations. However, this trend was followed by a drop to 50,000 by the
end of the period, while the number of visitors to the mountains showed steady
growth over five years, accounting for approximately 35,000 visitors in 2007.
