 Plans grow in hot and cold places and in water

Parts of plants

Leaves :- makes food for plants

Fruits :- have seed inside them

Flower :- turns into fruits

Seeds :- grow into new plants

Roots :- help the plants to take in water and nutrients from the soil.

stem :- helps to carry water and nutrient.


Use of plants

 We get fruits , vegetables, grains from plants

 We get oil from the seeds

 Tea, coffee and cocoa are from plants.

 We get sugar from sugar cane.

 We get wood from trees.

 We make paper from wood.

 We make thread and cloth from cotton.

 We get rubber from rubber trees.

 We get medicines from some plants.
