I. Invitation

Warmest Greetings!

We, Jequez M. Macapanas, Aisha Keith A. Vallejos, Ana Mae Aba, and
Jesseph A. Omogtal are Grade 11 students enrolled in the strand Humanities
and Social Sciences (HUMSS) at Impasugong National High School-Senior
High School. We are pleased to invite you to participate in our research study
as part of our Practical Research 1 subject.

Our study, titled “Higaonon Students’ perspective on cultural practices’

influence on learning: A Qualitative study” aims to explore how traditional
cultural practices affect students' learning experiences. Your insights will be
invaluable in helping us understand this topic better.

We will conduct unstructured interviews with 10 senior high school

students (Grades 11 or 12) who identify as Higaonon to gain a deeper
understanding of their perspectives. The interviews will consist of six open-
ended questions focusing on how cultural traditions shape their academic
experiences. To ensure your comfort and privacy, the individual interview
may be conducted in person or online and will last approximately 30 minutes
to an hour.

For accuracy, the recorded and transcribed interviews will only be

accessible to the researchers. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary,
and you may withdraw at any time for any reason. If you agree to
participate, we kindly ask you to sign the Informed Consent Form, which
confirms that:

1. You agree to take part in the study.

2. You will provide honest responses to the interview questions.

3. The researchers will document and record the interview.

4. You have the right to withdraw your participation at any time.

We deeply appreciate your willingness to share your experiences. All

information will remain confidential. Thank you for your valuable
participation!
