The Alpha Pinnacle Plus Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), in tower or rack mount configurations
provides safe, clean, reliable power protection to data and voice networking equipment, telecommunication
systems, servers and other mission-critical applications. The Pinnacle Plus offers and advanced fully
digitized microprocessor controlled technology can quickly react to varying output conditions and continually
offer pure sine wave power to cricital equipment with zero transfer time. The advanced, scalable battery
charger shortens the battery recharge time while prolonging the life of the battery. With true RS-232
two-way communication that sends signals to both the network and computer, the Pinnacle Plus can
be monitored, shut down, or programmed with an on/off date, using its own software. Simplified control
circuits make it light, easier to control, and more reliable due to the reduction of internal components.

Pinnacle Plus Advantages

Advanced Digital Signal Processing Technology (DSP)

Capable of monitoring all conditions of the UPS in real time and creating a pure sine wave output with
1% regulation.

Designed for Continuous Battery Operation

Highly effective power module – Insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) with greater current rating, durability and
zero transfer time to prevent any load interruption.

User Friendly Smart LCD Display

All models have an interface to clearly indicate UPS status such as normal operations of batteries, bypass,
fault, recharge, load, load size and capacity.

Unique Battery Management

Allows for the addition of battery packs to prepare for extreme power outages.

Automatic Frequency Synchronization

UPS can be selected for 1 or 3Hz to operate on back-up generator power while the power supply stabilizes
the frequency without any interruptions to the load.

Internal Static Bypass

Under special circumstances such as overload, protection or crash, the UPS will automatically switch to
main power using an internal bypass circuit.

Self-Diagnostic Function
Once the UPS is powered on, the unit automatically monitors for fault conditions, protects itself and
the load from any of the these conditions and displays a comprehensive error code.

All Pinnacle Models Include AlphaMON Shut Down Software

Software includes UPS utility monitoring, scheduled system shutdown with file saving
capability, warning notification via e-mail and pager, and user-definable warnings.

Optional Internal SNMP/Web Agent

SNMP/Web Agent has a system administrator notification, java applets, automatic
shutdown, multi-server shutdown, enhanced HTTP security, and a new Graphical
User Interface (GUI) for the systems ‘s home page and applets.

User Accessible Hot Swappable Batteries

The Pinnacle Plus series is designed with an easily accessible hot swappable
battery that eliminates sparks and ensures user safety.
