Personal profile
Dedicated. Dedication is ‘the quality of being dedicated or committed to a task or purpose’. I believe I represent this characteristic within my life; I
achieve 100% attendance, I commute 2 hours a day for school, I commuted 2 hours for work, I am a loyal friend and never miss an assignment. I
am a hard worker that takes pride in my organisational skills and am always willing to learn something new.
Skills
Independence
Although I enjoy working within a team, I am an independent individual. Taking public transport can be daunting by one’s self, but from the age of
13 I have commuted from Ruardean to Gloucester and Cheltenham and recently commuted to and around London- reading time tables, planning
my time and building up confidence when relying upon myself. I am not afraid to be independent in situations for example, my parents couldn’t
attend parents evening at the beginning of year 11, so I attended solo. This reassured my confidence at the time due to understanding it would
benefit my education.

Other interests
Anti-Bullying rep
I attended regular meeting addressing the issues of bullying amongst the students and young people in society. I also showed innovation when
creating new ideas which allowed students to feel more comfortable when discretely reporting bullying and addressing the issue of not having easy
website access to support ( I compared our school resources to other schools in Gloucestershire). I additionally learnt that bullying wasn’t only
prevented amongst younger years but also that young girls are also statistically more likely to be the agonist in situations.
school prefect
I was a senior student during year 10 and 11. This taught me to communicate well with my peers addressing issues within four school system and
had duties such as monitoring students on the field during a Wednesday lunchtime- this allowed me to build confidence and understand the
responsibilities of staff around the school.
