The Commission conducted Paper- I (Descriptive) & Paper –II (Computer
Based Examination) of Junior Secretariat Assistant/ Lower Division Clerk Grade
Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2023 & 2024 on 10.05.2024. The
above mentioned examination was conducted for the following Services/ Cadres:-
i. Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service, Ministry of Railways;
ii. M/o External Affairs (Cadre Cell);
iii. Central Passport Organization, M/o External Affairs;
iv. Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service (AFHQ);
v. Central Administrative Tribunal;
vi. Office of the Registrar General, India;

2. The result of Computer Based Examination i.e. Paper-II for Junior Secretariat
Assistant/ Lower Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive
Examination, 2023 & 2024 was declared by the Commission on 29.06.2024 wherein
509 candidates qualified for evaluation of Paper–I (Descriptive Exam) for the year
2023. Subsequently, result of Paper I for short listing of candidates for evaluation of
Service Records/ APARs was declared on 08.10.2024 in which 502 candidates were
declared qualified for the year 2023.

3. The final vacancy position for JSA/LDC LDCE 2023 is as follows-

6. Resolution of Tie Cases- As per para 31 of the Notice for Examination, in cases
where more than one candidate secured the equal aggregate marks, tie has been
resolved by applying the following methods one after another in the given order till the
tie is resolved:-
(i) Marks obtained in Paper-I
(ii) Marks in Part (a) of Paper-II
(iii) Marks obtained in Part II
(iv) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.

7. Result in respect of AFHQ cadre, M/o External Affairs (Cadre cell), M/o External
Affairs (CPO) and O/o Registrar General will be declared separately.
8. The list of the candidates is purely provisional and subject to their fulfilling all
the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of the Examination and also subject
to thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photograph, signatures,
handwritings etc. on the Application Forms, Admission Certificates etc.
9. Detailed marks of the qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded
on the Commission’s website shortly.
