Course Objectives

The core objective of this course is to help students understand that different

conversation. The final goal is to understand the "social nature of language" through
practical English conversations in various situations.

Each chapter of the textbook covers topics ranging from everyday conversations such as
introducing family and describing personalities to more advanced discussions like explaining
news events and proposing solutions to problems.

The course is structured into three main stages:

1. Analysis of the topic and context covered in each chapter

2. Discussion on appropriate communication strategies for each situation

3. English-speaking practice to improve fluency

Through this course, students will not only improve their conversational skills but also
develop effective communication abilities required in a globalized world and gain an

people who speak different languages. Since mastering multiple languages is difficult,
English, as the global lingua franca, becomes an essential tool for communication. This
course provides numerous opportunities for students to train their communication skills by
working on assignments with peers from different linguistic backgrounds.
