GENERALINSTRUCTIONS:
1.The question paper consists of five sections:
Section I: Question No.1 to 12 are of 1 mark. (10 are MCQ Type and 2 assertion reasoning type questions)
Section II Question No13 and 14 are case-based questions. Each case-based question has 3 sub-parts, two of
them are MCQ type (1 mark) and third subpart is a short answer type. (2 marks)
Section III Question No 15 to 22 are Short Answer Type I question of 2 marks each.
Section IV Question No 23 to 30 are Short Answer Type II question of 3 mark each.
Section V Question No 31 to 34 are Long Answer Type question of 5 marks.
2. Please write the serial No. of the question before attempting it.
3. In questions of constructions/graph, the drawing should be neat, clean and exactly as per given
measurements. Use ruler and compass only.
4. All questions are compulsory. However, internal choices have been given in some questions.

14.Class 6 students while studying mensuration were given a test of measuring a field using
metre tape. The students found out the length of field as 112 m and breadth as 85 m.

23. A shopkeeper bought an article for Rs 2000 and sold it at a loss of 20%. What is the selling
price of the article?
24. Simplify the expression (5x2 – 6ab −2x2) and find the value of the expression if:
x = −2, a = −1 and b = 3.
25. Draw a line segment AB = 5.6 cm. Draw a perpendicular to it from a point ‘O’ outside by
using ruler and compasses.
26.The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:5. Find the measures of each angle of the
triangle.
27. How many envelopes can be made out of a sheet of paper 125cm by 85cm supposing one
envelope require a piece of paper of side 17cm by 5cm.
28. The length of a rectangular field is thrice its breadth. If theperimeter of this field is 800 m,
find the length of the field .
