Short Story:
A Day in the Community
One sunny morning, a group of friends formed a committee to plan a fun event for their community.
They wanted to communicate their ideas clearly, so they scheduled a meeting.
During the meeting, one friend felt a bit embarrassed when he suggested an idea that had already been
proposed. His friends encouraged him to keep sharing. They wanted to guarantee an enjoyable event, so
they decided to recommend a talent show.
As they planned, they assigned each member an occupation to ensure everything would occur smoothly.
They created a detailed programme and made sure they had enough volunteers.
On the day of the talent show, dark clouds threatened the event. One friend began to cough, making
everyone laugh. "Although the weather looks rough, we can make this work!" she said.
The event started, and they were thrilled to see so many familiar faces. One friend
had bought decorations, and another had brought treats. The energy was wonderful, and everyone
was thoughtful, cheering for each performer.
At the end of the day, they felt proud of what they had accomplished, proving that together, they could
overcome any challenge and bring their community together.

Now, it’s your turn…
