PROJECT UNIT 7: EDUCATION OPTIONS FOR

SCHOOL-LEAVERS
OUTLINE
Linh: Hello teacher, I’m Linh who will represent for group 4. My group
consists of 5 members: Kiệt, Diệp, Tiến, Minh and me. Today we’ll
perform a skit to propound several educational options for school-
leavers. Let’s get started now.

Linh( Consultant 1): Welcome two student to our career counseling


session. Today, we’ll introduce you some useful advise for you after
graduating. So let us know some information about yourselves.

Diep( Student 1): Let me introduce myself first, I’m Diep- a senior
student from BTX secondary school. I am wondering about my options
for the future after graduation. That’s the reason why I attend this
session.

Minh( Student 2): Followed by reliable senior- Diep. I’m Minh- a


pompous boy from 8th grade of BTX secondary school. I’m actually get
some confusion about my future orientation.

Kiet( Consultant 3): You are discerning to participate with us. Let’s
move to the first educational options. Speaking of higher, university is
and clearheaded choice for education for school-leavers who want
formal learning in order to get academic degree after graduating.
Besides main studying, you can engage in various clubs or
extracurricular activities that help you enhance you social skills.

Diep( Student 1): That’s sound interesting, Is there any requirement for
the participants who want apply to these universities?
Kiet( Consultant 3): What’s a amazing question! To apply to these
educational facilities. The students have to master in several certain
subjects that suitable for the majors they want to study. Another
demand is they need to have the graduation certification of highschool.
Nevertheless, you have to undergo variety of difficult exams to be
admited to these universities.

Minh( Student 2): That’s sound challenging for me. Oh no, I probadly
can’t apply to these universities. Huhu, Where will my future go?

Tien( Consultant 2): Don’t be depressed, Minh! Colleges is an


appropriate substitute for universities. Colleges is a qualified forms of
education in Viet Nam. This is an educational program after graduating
high school for intermediate levels who want to pursue the formal
education. Additionally, you can experience diversely extracurricular
activities similar to university.

Diep( Student 1): Absolutely great, Mr Tien. Hmm. Is there any chances
for the college students who are ambitious to study higher like
universities?

Tien( Consultant 2): AI cha cha. There are several colleges that have
university connections that alllow alumnuse to keep on track their
educational journey. However, they have to complete their study
process in just 1 and a half years include passing totally their majors,
final thesis and internships.

Minh( Student 2): I realise that achieving an undergraduate degree is


actually a challenging process that asserts significant efforts.

Linh( Consultant 1): Absolutely right, Minh. And the last options which
we recommend for you in today session is vocational education as
known as apprenticeship training. You will gain the practical skills and
knowledge necessary for a specific job. In addition, a vocational school
may also offer you an apprenticeship. This type of training not only
provides students with hands-on experience, but also gives them
earnings to cover their living costs.

Minh( Student 2): That’s sound incredible! That means the participants
not only have the environment to gain precious knowledges, but also
have the wages to ensure their living- conditions, right?

Linh( Consultant 1): Definitely Right, Minh! Moreover, After getting


their vocational qualifications, graduates can immediately start work
and earn a salary.

Kiet( Consultant 3): In conclusion, There are a lot of educational


opportunities for school-leavers today. You can choose from hundreds
of vocational schools or higher education institutions to continue your
educational journey.

Diep( Student 1): Thanks a lot for oganising this fantastic our career
counseling session. Me and Minh are beneficial a lot from your
proposals, especially we both have own plan for our career. We truly
appreciate that.

Linh( Consultant 1): That’s the end of our performance today. Thanks
for your listening.
