II. Detailed Information about the Project
1. Title of the Project: To express the collected information in Indian
System and International System.
2. Aim of the Project :
a) To Read and Write the numbers in Indian System.
b) To Read and Write the numbers in International System.
c) To know Comparing of numbers.
d) To arrange in Ascending and Descending Order.

4. Previous knowledge:
Indian System
a) In our Indian system of numeration we use ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, lakhs and
crores. Commas are used to mark thousands, lakhs and crores.
b) The first comma comes after hundred place (i.e. three digits from the right) and marks
thousands 704676,857.
c) The second comma comes two digits later (i.e. five digits from the right) 7046,76,857. It
comes after ten thousands place and marks lakh.
d) The third comma comes after another two digits. (i.e. seven digits from the right)
70,46,76,857. It comes after ten lakhs place and marks crore.
e) Commas help us in reading and writing large numbers easily.
f) For example, Seventy crore forty six lakh seventy six thousand and eight hundred and fifty
seven can be written as, 70, 46, 76, 857.

International System
g) In International system of numeration we use ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousand,
hundred thousand, Million Ten Million, hundred Million and Billions. Commas are used to
mark thousands, Millions and Billions
h) The first comma comes after hundred place (i.e. three digits from the right) and marks
thousands 704676,857.
i) The second comma comes three digits later (i.e. six digits from the right) 704,676,857. It
comes after hundred thousands place and marks Million.
j) Commas help us in reading and writing large numbers easily.
k) For example, Seven hundred four Million six hundred and seventy six thousand and eight
hundred and fifty seven can be written as, 704,676, 857.

5. Material Required: Pen, Pencil, Eraser, Glue, Sketches, Glitters, Colour Papers etc.
6. Procedure: I collected the Mobile numbers of our family Members, relatives
and friends. I tabulated them as below.
