Course Outcomes: After the end of this course students will be able to
CO1 Classify different farm machinery equipments required for plant
protection, threshing and harvesting.
CO2 Explain harvesting and threshing methods of different crops
CO3 Apply the technical knowledge and skills required for operation,
maintenance and evaluation of threshing and harvesting
CO4 Demonstrate different components of farm machineries.
CO5 Evaluate the performance efficiencies and cost of operations for
different farm machines.
CO6 Identify the sources of losses in combine harvester and thresher

working; Study of various types of potato harvesters, constructional details,
materials and working; Study of various types of groundnut harvesters,
constructional details, materials and working & performance; Study of
various types of forage harvester, constructional details, materials and
