items he/she bought.

The type of curriculum that is easy to find is the taught curriculum, because it is very obvious and easily
observed. It is the curriculum that we can always observe inside the school as every classroom is performing
this curriculum. It is because the teaching and learning process is the everyday routine of the teachers and
students which is included in the taught curriculum.
The most difficult type of curriculum to observe is the hidden curriculum because sometimes hidden
curriculum cannot be observed directly. Since we can only visit every Monday and Tuesday, there are certain
activities we missed. However, as I observed around the school and inside the classroom there are things that I
realized are part of the hidden curriculum which includes the values that the teacher taught to students, the
“Bayanihan” they learned due to typhoon Kristine, and the religious influence they get from catechism which
was not part of the K to 12 curriculum.
Yes, it can all be found in the school setting, inside and outside the classroom. Curricula are related to one
another in a way that they benefit each other, affect students’ development and serve as a basis on what and
how the students acquire knowledge inside the school. All the learning materials and resources must be
related and based on all the curricula implemented in a school.
A globally competent Filipino teacher understands interconnectedness and diversity, creative and innovative,
is respectful, and has a depth of knowledge. As I observed my resource teacher, I can conclude that she is a
globally competent teacher who can understand and respect differences, is creative, and enthusiast,
encourages students’ participation, and has a depth knowledge of the content. She can use different
languages necessary for the subject matter she is teaching and provide a holistic learning experience to her
students.
Yes, from the start to the end of the lesson plan is implemented. She started with the preliminary activities like
prayer, checking of attendance, and review of the previous lesson, then she gave a motivational activity to the
students where she played a song and presents the lesson, and discuss the topic. As she continues discussing
she provides an ample number of examples to let the students learn the lesson. They asked them about the
discussion and to see if she could already provide an assessment. After that, she gave another activity to the
students to test what they had learned. Lastly, she gave an additional activity that they will do at home.
After the lesson was taught she was happy to know that her students learned from her and
She ensures that all her lessons have values that will be instilled to each student. I think she was satisfied
because after the assessment most of her students got the correct answer. However, she was a bit tired
because she had her previous subjects to teach before this subject. Moreover, she was satisfied with the result
of her lesson.
Based on what I can see on the faces of the students, they were so happy, because they were able to answer
the questions correctly, and given that they are from a grade-ready section, it was easy for them to
understand the lesson. Additionally, they enjoyed the activities prepared by my resource teacher. Observing
on them, I think they are satisfied and contented with the lesson.
Based on the lesson plan that I saw from my resource teacher, the Daily Log Lesson Plan for teachers is also
similar to the lesson plan that we usually do in school. The DepEd format lesson plan is a detailed outline of
activities and it has different parts and many activities as well. For my resource teacher, she does not have to
make a detailed one. The lesson plan that we usually do is very detailed and all of the responses of the
students are written there. Some part of the activities in the DepEd format has real-world context and it also
has subject and values integration. In preparing a lesson plan first we need to identify what will be the
objectives of the lesson. That will be our guide in crafting all the learning activities because it must be aligned
with the objectives. After that, think of the activities and strategies you will use that are appropriate for
students and for their grade level. Then, think of how will you teach the lesson in a manner that is easy to
understand and will catch their attention at the same time they enjoy learning. Lastly make activities or
assessments that align with your objectives and will ensure to measurement of the learning of the students.

Yes, it is all aligned with each other all the activities used in the lesson are aligned with the learning objectives
it wants to achieve, like for the learning outcomes: Compose clear and coherent sentences using appropriate
grammatical structures: Order of adjectives was reflected on the assessment; Show tactfulness when
communicating with others was seen during the entire discussion and exchanging ideas of learners; and
Observe politeness at all times was seen on the application on real-life situation. When creating an assessment
and thinking of teaching method to be used it is important that it is aligned with the objectives or the learning
outcomes that you aim to achieve at the end of the lesson. When all of it are aligned your lesson or discussion
will be clear and organize.
Yes, since teaching method to be used is aligned with the objectives, it must be present in the learning activities. For
example, one of your objectives is to teach students how to create their own story. One of your activities should be align
with this. You may conduct a story telling, the students will right their story first then they will tell it to the whole.

Yes, the outcomes will be achieved with the teaching method used because the teaching method used was appropriate
with the topic. The teacher uses 4A’s which is suitable to the topic about ordering adjectives. This method is good for
students to learn the lesson as it provides ample activities that promotes mastery of the topic.

The component that would tell if the outcomes have been achieved is through the assessment, with this we can
determine whether they were able to achieve the following outcomes because it is the part where you will measure
students learning. If students were able to answer the questions correctly and the ideal percentage of students were
able to reach passing score then we can say that outcome were achieve.

I learned that in developing a lesson plan, we need to carefully plan it from the objectives to learning activity and
assessment. In writing a lesson plan, the learning objectives will be our guide, all the activities and assessment that we
will do should be aligned with what is intended to be learn. Aside from that I also learned to plan the activities very will
because it is so crucial in developing students’ mastery of the lesson. We should always tap the higher order thinking
skills of the learners, develop their critical thinking skills, and their values in life.

If all the components were aligned, the teacher they will have a smooth delivery of the lesson. It is important that these
three components are aligned to get the purpose of the different parts of the lesson. If lesson and activities will be
organized and planned according to its goals and objectives it will help teacher to effectively teach the lesson and
achieve the learning outcomes. Aside from that the teacher will not be confused and miss information during discussion.

All the types of curriculum are interconnected or linked to one another. The diagram shows the different types
of curriculum, the relationship between each part of the curriculum, and how they affect learning. The
Recommended Curriculum includes the standards set by schools or education systems, to simply understand,
this curriculum is from the Department of Education which is the K to 12 Curriculum. These ideas are then,
written down in the Written Curriculum, such as lesson plans and textbooks by which teachers and other
stakeholders created. When we have the basis for what should be learned by the students, it will go on the
Taught Curriculum. This curriculum is what teachers actually deliver in the classroom, which may differ based
on their understanding and resources, and is also aligned with their students' needs. To properly deliver the
lessons, the Supported Curriculum is needed. This includes tools such as books and instructional materials,
training, and other resources that help teachers and students throughout the learning process. To measure
what they have learned, teachers proceed to an assessment which is called assessed curriculum. This
curriculum focuses on what is tested, which often influences what teachers prioritize based on the given
learning outcomes. Finally, after assessing students, learning could be determined, which is called the Learned
Curriculum. This is what students truly understand and remember after the learning process. However,
students may also learn things that aren’t part of the curriculum. This is called the Hidden Curriculum, which
includes values and lessons they get from their environment and interactions. All these curricula are important
to the total development of a child as a learner and influence them in all aspects. That is why providing quality
education and following the recommended curriculum is a must to ensure universal learning even though we
use differentiated instruction. Even though these curricula show how complex and connected education can
be, what’s more important is the learning that students gain from these curricula.
