Subject: Request for Extension of Study Leave

Dear Sir,

Hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to respectfully request an extension of my study
leave for one additional year.
I was granted study leave without pay for two years, effective from 01.03.2023 to 29.02.2025, to
pursue my Ph.D. program (application attached). Unfortunately, due to the complexity of my
research and various unforeseen circumstances, I have not yet completed my Ph.D. program. I
am therefore requesting an extension of my leave for one more year, from 01.03.2025 to
28.02.2026, to allow me the necessary time to finish my studies.
I assure you that I am fully committed to completing my research within this extended period
and will make every effort to resume my duties promptly upon completion of my studies.
I kindly request your consideration and approval of my application for an extension of study
leave.
