The DAC-310 offers no protection against the operator and
contains no built-in machine safety.
Therefore, application of the controller is the entire responsibility
of the customer. Safety measures must be taken outside the
controller in order to guarantee safety for the operator, even in
case of possible malfunctioning of the controller.
Delem bv cannot be held responsible for any damage caused
directly or indirectly by the controller in normal operation or even if
it fails to function according to its specifications.

3. OPERATING MODES
3.1. General
When the stop button (O) is pressed the DAC-310 will keep the
back gauge at its actual position. The LED of the stop button will
light up.
V0504, 7
DAC-310 Delem
When the start button is pressed the parameters Xm and Xp are
displayed, the programmed position and the actual position.
When the axis reached the programmed position, Xp is
highlighted and has the same value as Xm.
When the stop button is pressed the cursor moves back to the
selected parameter.

If the value for step repetition CY is higher than 1, only the value
of CY in the current step is decremented by 1 and no new step
will be loaded.
When the Automatic key is pressed to start a program, the control
automatically starts at Step 1. This happens whether or not the
parameter ST is programmed higher than zero. See chapter 4 for
more information about parameter ST.

DAC-310 Delem
4.3.1. General
Note:
The back gauge position can also be programmed negative. In
that case, it is considered as a chaining value.
4.3.4. COR(rection)
Default: 0

4.3.6. Function Outputs F
Value F2 F1
00 off off
01 off on
10 on off
11 on on
4.3.7. Repetition CY
Note 1:
The value 0 means that the step must be skipped.
Note 2:
This parameter has no meaning in Manual mode and is equal to
0.
Note 3:
The presence of this parameter depends on machine settings

4.3.8. Stock Counter #
Range : -1 - 9999
Default: 0
V0504, 15
DAC-310 Delem
When programmed higher than zero, the remaining steps in the
memory outside the program range are not accessible, but they
remain in the memory. To access those steps, ST must be
programmed back to 0.
Note: the presence of this parameter depends on machine
settings.
4.3.10. Stroke S
4.3.11. Gap G
V0504, 16
Delem
• In manual mode all parameters can always be programmed,
even if the switch is in the OFF-position.
• In automatic mode, the stock counter # and the correction
can still be programmed.

Actual pos .............................................................. 03
You can program here the position at which the axis is
currently located. When you think that Xp is not showing
the correct position value, program here the correct
position value. Make sure this position is correct.
This parameter is only available if no reference search
system is used.
Contrast .................................................................. 04
To set the contrast level for the display.
Backlight................................................................. 05
To set the level of illumination from the display.
