Subject: Final year MBA Students Project – Academic year 2024-2025 –
Reg
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
It is informed that the following Project guidelines should be followed by the
final year MBA students.
1. All the students should do their project individually; no group project will
be permitted.
2. All the students must do their projects in company only; no open project
will be permitted.
3. Students must choose their project title and area explicitly; no repetitions
are permitted.
4. Students must identify and finalize their company and report to the HOD
for approval on or before 13thof March 2025.
5. Every students and project guide should give utmost priority to
the project quality; if the quality of the project is found to be
deviated from standard REDO OF THE PROJECT will be enforced.
PROJECT GUIDELINES:
i. All the faculty members of MBA should submit a minimum of 5 project
titles in each of their specializations.
ii. The students can choose any of the project title according to their
specialization and area of the project (Marketing/Finance/Human
Resource).
iii. The area of the project (Marketing/Finance/Human Resource) should
be finalized before selecting the topic. The students should choose the
area of research based on their specialization.

iv. Project selection should be based on students’ choice or as per the
Guide direction and the Guide should review and ensure the quality
and feasibility of the research.
v. Project Guide & titles once confirmed cannot be changed at any
circumstances.
vi. THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PROJECT GUIDES THAT
EVERYONE SHOULD PREPARE A RESEARCH PAPER BASED ON
THEIR PROJECT TOPICS BEING GUIDED BY THEM.
Project Status Report:
vii. The Project status report is to be maintained in the following format
(Refer Annexure 1)and updated regularly by the respective guides.
The status report should be submitted to HoD on every Monday
(weekly basis) and to Principal on or before 3 rd of every month
(monthly basis).
viii. The project Guide should maintain the Project Status Report student
wise and update the status report during every review meeting with
the project student.
ix. Review Committee:
The review committee consists of minimum of four members including
project guide. This project review committee should be chaired by the
HOD the marks will be awarded to each student in the following
format (Refer Annexure 2).
The marks will be awarded based on the students’ performance in
each review.
Each review members will award 15 marks for each students and the
average of five reviewer marks will be considered for internal
assessment.

Students should attend the review meetings without fail and
present their progress status of project in front of the review
committee. The assessment of their progress in project will be
done by the committee members in the following basis.
Five reviews will be conducted separately and 15 marks for
presentation and 5 marks for attendance will be given for each
review.
Finally the internal marks will be awarded. The external marks
will be awarded as per regulation, which is given below.

xii. After completion of everyreview detailed report along with the marks
obtained by the Student duly signed by all the project guides & HOD
should be submitted to the principal in the prescribed format (Refer
Annexure 3).

GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF MBA PROJECT REPORT
The guideline is intended to provide broad guidelines to the MBA
candidates in the preparation of the project report.
SIZE OF PROJECT REPORT:
The size of project report should not exceed 60 pages of typed matter
reckoned from the firstpage of Chapter 1 to the last page of the last
chapter.
ARRANGEMENT OF CONTENTS OF PROJECT REPORT:
The sequence in which the thesis material should be arranged and
bound should be asfollows:
1. Cover Page & Title page
2. Bonafide Certificate
3. Abstract, Company Letter if any
4. Acknowledgement
5. Table of Contents
6. List of Tables
7. List of Figures

The Tables and Figures shall be introduced in the appropriate places.

The main text would be divided into several chapters and each chapter
