36. BINGO is game of chance. The host has 75 balls numbered 1 through 75. Each player has a BINGO card with
some numbers written on it. The participant cancels the number on the card when called out a number
written on the ball selected at random. Whoseever cancels all the numbers on his / her card, says BINGO and
wins the game.

37. We all have seen the airplanes flying in the sky but might have not thought of how they actually reach the
correct destination. Air Traffic Control (ATC) is a service provided by ground-based air traffic controllers who
direct aircraft on the ground and through a given section of controlled airspace, and can provide advisory
services to aircraft in non-controlled airspace. Actually, all this air traffic is managed and regulated by using
various concepts based on coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
At a given instance, ATC finds that the angle of elevation of an airplane from a point on the ground is 60°.
After a flight of 30 seconds, it is observed that the angle of elevation changes to 30°. The height of the plane
remains constantly as 3000√3 m.
Use the above information to answer the questions that follow:
(i) Draw a neat labelled figure to show the above situation diagrammatically.
(ii) (a) What is the distance travelled by the plane in 30 seconds?
OR
(b) Keeping the height constant, during the above flight, it was observed that after 15(√3-1) seconds, the
angle of elevation changed to 45°. How much is the distance travelled in that duration?
(iii) What is the speed of the plane in km/hr?

charges for the park are Rs. 150 per child and Rs. 250 per adult.
On a day, the cashier of the park found that 300 tickets were sold and an amount of ₹ 55,000 was collected.
Based on the above, answer the following questions:
(i) If the number of children visited be x and the number of adults visited be y, then write the given situation
algebraically.
(ii) (a) How many children visited the amusement park that day?
OR
(b) How many adults visited the amusement park that day?
(iii) How much amount will be collected if 250 children and 100 adults visit the amusement park?
